I like Great Go-Buster's "stumpy upper body". It makes him look dense and secure; the way a penultimate mecha should. King takes that stocky appearance I love and throws it out the window. And for what? A half mile wide gap between the arms and the chest. And Ace's sword.
WHY? Oh. And I hate how the supposed "ultimate" combination lacks
THE MAIN MECHA. I don't ask for much, but it can't be too much to ask for the first mecha to be a part of the final mode, right?

It fills out the proportions better than the Ace, that's pretty much all there is to it for me. That's why I like it better. From a sideview it's an even worse nightmare but at the front it looks pretty nice.

Again, Great Go-Buster's thick, armored appearance appeals more to me than the lanky Go-Buster King. Another thing with King, he puts WAY too much on the back, it's stupid. I'm fine with the rabbit guns on Oh. I'm even better with the epic death collar on Great. But having 1/4th of it's mass on it's back is just ridiculous.
And that's why I think RaiOh is the worst thing to happen to the Buster Machines line.
