I know people like this rider, though I'm turned off by his design, so I better watch his show.

I haven't seen Kabuto, but I like how much of the original design it keeps, while still looking like a power up. (Which I assume is the context?)

Honestly this looks really pretty good despite its age, then again it was a later release then the original kabuto figuarts

I still remember how excited I was to get this figure.. I was still just getting into collecting Figuarts, had recently finished Kabuto and loved it, and wanted to get myself a little birthday present since he was pretty cheap. And I loved him. He could do so much and came with a lot of swappable parts. Made playing with and posing him fun.
I do still like it. However, the paint wear is a real big a shame. Might even be the biggest motivating factor for me deciding to replace it with the Shinkocchou Seihou release, improved molding of course still contributing some. Still going to be hard to want to part with when the new one comes in. This one has remained one of my favorites over the years.

I look at this and I can only think, that horn must of been murder on the suit actors neck, Overall on of the better supermodes in my opinion

Yeah, while the proportion issues are hard to ignore, the figure definitely came with everything it needed and executed it all well enough. It definitely needed the upgrade, but it looks nice enough on its own.

Great looking figure! It's a shame about the paint fading; I had a similar issue with my Kamen Rider WCF - new in box Kamen Rider W forms with faded paint. I've been tempted to try and fix the issue with some of the "clear" colored Tamiya paints, but I'm unsure. Anyway, in regards to this model, the articulation seems nice, but it's hard to get past those massively exposed joints in the elbows. From the back, they look nice because of the armor, but the inner elbow is just eerily thin for me. Thanks for the gallery!

This felt like such a natural evolution of the suit design, it just works so much as a final form compared to what would come in later seasons. The wing effect parts have been done better in a more recent release, but still look good here. It's not the flashiest final form but it is still easily one of the best.

Looks nice, and would be good for a budget buy if you can't afford the new one.
