29. And you can totally watch it up to 29 and feel like it's a good show that got cancelled before it got to really get to the end but still managed to pull off a pretty decent, if rushed, conclusion.
Or you can keep watching and see everything get all Faiz-y. Either way, give it a shot - it's an absolutely amazing show. Anyway to stay on topic Fourze 22 Last edited by Crown Athlete; 02-14-2012 at 04:47 PM.. |

Finally got round to finishing Kabuto just need to watch the movie but i understand its a separate universe so i think I'm good to judge the series...
For anyone that remembers from TFW, i started kabuto about 4 months ago and have had a very on off relationship with it. It's not that it was terrible, it just wasn't too good. I found it slow and dull at first, then when the bee and drake turned up and we started to get more riders i found it really picked up. But after the whole Tsurugi reveal it got a little stale again. I wasn't sure if i was supposed to feel sorry for the worm or hate them. It kind of reminded me of the fangire but they at least got eliminated if they didn't behave the way they should, worm didn't have that fear though. And that big twist at the end didn't help as it kind of showed the worm as the good guys. It also had a habit of making anyone you cared about into a worm. And Tendou is a huge jerk, he can kill Arata's brother but no one can touch his sister? Granted he didn't know about Hiyori being his sister at first Still having said that, i really liked him for the most part. He just seems to swing from a jerk with his heart in the right place to complete and utter jerk who gives a damn about no one but himself. Arata was the better hero but he was oblivious most of the time. Daisuke was interesting as he had no real desire to be a hero or a rider, so god knows why he was chosen, maybe the drake zecter was lazy? Tsurugi was alright, i just wish they hadn't spaced his story out so much. The two the bee guys who become kick hopper and punch hopper... yeah i don't give a damn about them =p completely random and unnecessary in my eyes and had the worst suits. Overall i really like the rider designs alot, hyper kabuto just looks awesome, and whilst it didn't quite keep it together all the time it was still a better overall package then decade so my rider ranks look like this now: W Kiva Den-O OOO Kabuto Decade Next up is ryuki which i've been looking forward to for a while now =) |

I still stand by "Kagami is the Kabuto Main Character." The MC doesn't have to be the most likable character nor the most relatable. But Tendou's coldness just came off as dickish. His willingness to completely screw over Tsurugi (Not so much Daisuke, since he didn't have all that much to fight for) just for Hiyori seemed less heroic and caring and more heartless.
Kagami was far more likable, his backstory tragic, funny, and just overall a lot more interesting (Especially in a fight, since it doesn't turn into a curbstomp battle every time). I love Kabuto (Definitely in my top 5 for Rider series) and Tendou, but I think Tendou as a whole brought down the series. Also, it makes Decade's defeat of Tendou just so unbelievable. I just watched the Kabuto movie and Tendou was much better in that, still a bit of a jerk, but much better. I like how it tied back into the series and it was just good fun =) If anyone is unsure of Kabuto i suggest checking this out first maybe, it doesn't really spoil anything in the series and it'll give you a decent feel for the show =) |

I just got to Drake's reveal in Kabuto. Like you, I couldn't stand how slow it seemed until TheBee showed up. But due to bandwidth limits here I can't download any more Decade episodes until the end of the week, so figured I'd watch some of the Kabuto ones I've already got.
Whether he's the main character or not, I do like Kagami the most of all the characters so far. Weird how we've watched the same series and I also want to do Ryuki after I'm done with these two... |

On topic, watched the first episode of ryuki, I'm definitely intrigued and like the main guy already reminds me of a mix of Gentaro and Eijii. Knight is just win =D It has some dodgy editing in parts though and it shows it's age a little, still I'm hopefully going to blast through a bunch tomorrow and see how it goes =] |
