Another really good episode. The stakes have never been higher and our heroes find themselves at there lowest point yet.
Still disappointed that Urobuchi reused the same twist he did in Madoka (well kinda) which doesnt mean that I disliked it. The twist was still really well done and I cant wait were they will go from there. The only thing that keeps me from rating the episode Excellent is that the adults are far too positiv about Oren pierre Alfonso proclaiming himself the hero of Zawame city. They blame the Beat Riders that they caused the infection yet they dont blame Oren who technically isnt a Beat Rider but participated in the Inves Game. |

I've been saying since the very first episode, literally from that moment, that characters that eat fruit become Inves. So he didn't become the dragon, the way they edited the preview it was clear he turned into something. So I'm happy to take this victory. I've been saying from day one that Gaim is killing humans who became Inves through no choice of their own. Hasse may be special because he chose the power of the fruit.
And it was an otherwise excellent episode so I'm pleased. Looks like we get more Energy Rider action next week. At least some cameos even if they aren't revealed.

Holy shit….
Gaim just keeps getting better and better, they just keep upping the ante every episode. This episode…the way it shook up the status quo…I could've sworn it was a final episode, or setting up for one at least. And damn…this episode really, REALLY makes you feel bad for Hase... |

I loved the episodes, but I have to wonder:
- How did Kaito, Kota, Hase, and Takatora, all happen to end up at the warehouse where the fight occurred? Did Kaito/Kota while off-screen hear some alarm/news bulletin on TV or twitter? - While neat seeing Banana Gaim, why did he bother? He's got his own lockseeds, Coconut, Strawberry, and Watermelon. Banana is a "base" armor, so if they needed to level up, wouldn't one of his own optional locks be a better choice? Orange arms already has two swords, Banana has a lance - i don't see any tactical advantage. I suppose it'll help sell the Arms Change toy line |

Good episode. I'm never a big fan of stories where everyone is tricked into thinking the heroes are villains, but I'm not minding it here that much. And really, they did play around with these monsters and at least two of the Ridrs have let their Invess get loose and go on rampages. It sucks for Kouta, Micchy, and Mai, but the Beat Riders are kind of to blame for some of this. Sure, they didn't know what they were doing, but they did still bring these monsters over en masse, and who knows what effect that had on the increasing number of cracks.

One of the best episodes this season so far. Oren Pierre Alfonso was simply magnifique! The story is taking yet another turn for the darker side with the infection as well as the city turning on the riders. We finally get our confirmation as to the nature of the forbidden fruit, which (not to steal your thunder Den-O) was pretty clear from the start to be the case. There were some great battles between the riders. I do hope that Bravo having difficulty taking on both Gaim and Baron doesn't mark the end of his partnership with Zangetsu though.
Next week looks fantastic as well, our debut of the other energy riders.
