Bigs and Bluefur use the Aurora Box on themselves and use Bigs's slim to pollute the city. Opposing them are the Rangers. How will they succeed?
… I don't think we need to think much about the answer, but there is still some discussion to be had. Last edited by KRX; 10-12-2013 at 06:52 PM.. |

For an episode meant to introduce a new Megazord, the Megazord wasn't in it for very long. I don't know—maybe I'm crazy.
Also, is it just me, or was there a lot of American footage in this episode? |

Sad to see Biggs and Wedge go, really. But that just means Metal Alice is coming and that is very awesome. The episode was alright aside from dialogue missteps I didn't like. I mean.. Come on. "These blasts are really powerful!" Seriously?
The Megazord wasn't on screen very long, but it wasn't in Goseiger either this episode. Now just someone has to turn the scene inside the Aurora Box into a Meme. "I've seen enough Hentai to know where this is going" |

Hey guys, just for the sake of clarity in the future if you're the one to start the episode discussion (and thus make the poll) can you stick the same rating system we use across the board? Thank you.
Episode itself was decent. Dialogue was clunky as hell but the visuals (which I should probably credit to Goseiger) were good. I'd care the the mutants were gone, but I hated them in Goseiger and they did next to nothing here. So good riddance.

I honestly don't know what to make of this episode.

This is mostly true, although I did like the Matrintis too. Not that they did very much, but they looked good.

Do they hire young, non-english speaking children to write the dialogue for this show? My God it's just atrocious. I mean I know a lot of that is probably down to the acting is well, but I always forget than when these areas are bad, they are BAD.
I just don't understand why this show feels so amateurish and cheap, I get the whole MMPR nostalgia business but that shouldn't mean that your show feels like a twenty year long step backwards. About the only saving grace is how polished the Goseiger fights are. This episode was so bad, it actually blows my mind a little. It was just a rushed, nonsensical, amateurishly cheap mess of smashed together sentai footage held together by voice acting so poor your ears leap off of your head and hide. That was probably the longest twenty minutes of my life and thank CHRIST it is over.

I missed this episode when it first aired, and I finally found it online. Wasn't exactly a bad episode, just rather... dissapointing. What hurt it, for me anyways, was the lack of any kind of story. Even the clip/recap episode had some story to it. This however was just a bunch of mostly randome fighting and the introduction of a new zord.
Was it just me, or was anyone else reminded of Ivan Ooze?
