To be fair, the He-Man 2002 relaunch failed due to horrible case assortment planning. To have He-Man be 3/4 of the first wave, 1/2 of the second, and 1/3 of the third with villains and other heroes being packed 1 per case, it caused nothing but He-Man to be on the shelf.
And no one wants to have just one toy to play with when the show featured so many different characters. Mattel tried to sell He-Man and not Masters of the Universe.

Not a fan of PVC used for limbs and weapons. I bought MMPR red and while I was supportive with the announcement of this line, soft plastic killed it for me. The articulation is decent and there's lots of playability due to the accessories. I didn't mind the steroids look so much but that also changed in person. 6" Lion O from BoA's Thundercats Classics line wasn't even this big!
PVC is a borderline deal breaker for me when used on parts like limbs and weapons. This one has new body tooling which is great but the PVC dims my enthusiasm.
