Here's a quick timeline of how this site came together:
2009 - Kickback bugs Tony_Bacala about a Tokusatsu site, Tony says "maybe later" 2010 - Kickback bugs Tony_Bacala again about a Tokusatsu site, Tony says "there may be potential, maybe later" 2011 - Kickback demands Tony_Bacala start a Tokusatsu site with the increasing popularity of Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and the re-emergance of Power Rangers, Tony says "Get people together, maybe" 2011 SDCC - Deefuzz and CookSux corner Tony_Bacala at SDCC, Tony finally says "Okay" after real people he knows confront him in person 2011 Post SDCC - Kickback gathers group of interested individuals from Tokusatsu related threads at TFW to gauge interest (see also the poll at TFW2005 regarding how much people are interested in Tokusatsu) 09/2011 - Kickback gathers his core group of individuals, presents to Tony 10/2011 - Initial system installed, skin created, a few logos go in testing, Kickback brings "core group" and tells them to try and break the site And that's why you have a ton of threads and posts from October of 2011, these guys were just as excited as I was, and we ended up having more discussion on Tokusatsu things here than we did at the other forums Anyways, it's been a long ride to get this place going (since 2009 technically) and I'm so proud that we are now open. I always find it fun starting to post at a new site, and if you're looking for suggestions let me throw my hat in the ring about a Godzilla section being made. It hasn't been mentioned nearly enough at TFW. |

Thank you guys for registering and taking part. Please leave feedback on the site and what you want to see come from it. And yes, galleries is something I want to do in time, but they are huge resource hogs and we need to make sure that we have the capacity on the network as a whole (TFW2005, ToyArk, and HissTank eat a lot of resources on our server) before we start doing that. But it is on the list, for sure. I always wanted to know how it went behind-the-scenes. When the “A New Nation Will Rise” signatures started appearing (first as text only) I thought the TFW network Is going to start a My Little Pony website as MyLittlePonyNation (seriously not kidding here). Then I saw the Power Rangers signatures. Then I thought “Oh awesome, PowerRangers Nation”. But I never thought it was something for all-things-Toku. Very cool indeed. Good Luck Guys.

Question:
Even if we're not a mod or admin, are we allowed to have a sig advertising TokuNation? I've some ideas for a sig, but I wanted to clear it with you folks, first. |

I always felt the TFW 2005 Network was a "classy" place for Transformers nerds. But to be honest I'm more of a TokuFan than a Transformer one. I posted at other Toku sites before but they're too wild and immature for me. So I'm glad this place is around! As a thank you I made a logo for the site. I was going to go for the Toho look, but I have more pride in Toei sooooo...
I'm sure the Japanese is right, may want to double check lol!
