I'm surprised that Kaito never pointed out the similarities between Gege and Secchan.

Plus, you know, the comedy is still as hilarious as always, without stepping on any of what I just said. My favorite gag was definitely Zyuran bluntly telling Cutanner and Ricky that he can't tell the difference between them to begin with. It's funny at first just because it mirrors a thought me (and probably plenty of others) have long had, but it becomes hysterical the longer you think about it, and realize what an astonishingly awful thing that is to say to someone. Apparently to Zyuran, these two are basically on the level of two flies that just kinda hover around Zox and Flint incessantly. Maybe Stacey isn't the only one who could use more respect!

See that's the thing that gets me. As established in the previous episode and the show, Kaito pretty much values Secchan, since it was a special gift from his parents, so the fact he doesn't point that out immediately is puzzling.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Stacey's actor running around all "Zenryoku Zenkai!" or Flint dancing the Twokai?
What more can I say? Seeing Kaito and Stacey's perspectives on each others' lives is just so good! The dynamics were fun, especially Stacaesar in the Zenkaiger role call and their logos clashing at the end. The CG wasn't too shabby, though still not quite a favorite, and Kaito/Stacey summoning Sentai to help him navigate through the Tojitendo and see Bokkowaus. Though I wonder what exactly Gege's endgame is... Maybe he wants the Zenkaigers to take out Bokkowaus so he can hatch some rotten scheme? Next Episode: Back to school! |

The only part I have not liked at all in the last two episodes has to be mecha fight at the end, the cg is just so bad, and overall the fights look badly designed as well.
I wonder if something happened during development here. The actual plot has been quite enjoyable though, the episodes have overall been great as well. |

It's humorous how Kaito summoned the cop Rangers to bust people out of prison and it's clever how he summoned Battle Japan while wearing the Stacaesar suit that derives from it. I guess they're holding out on using the last few Gears, although there's still a few we haven't seen used in the Geartlinger, like Go-Onger and Gekiranger.
Since there was no skirt addition to the Twokaizer suit (pretty ironic when you consider that was part of Gokaiger's gimmick, haha), I was curious if there was any difference with the suit actor and as I expected, it was Gomi taking over from Ito to portray Zox in Flint's body. I'm surprised that Kudaiter thought it was safe to be drinking on the clock, considering how strict Barashitara is about work etiquette. Either way, he let the prisoners escape on his watch, so he probably had a very bad time offscreen. While I prefer body swap episodes when the actors get to show off how they portray another character without voiceovers, I liked how Sakasama Wald's gimmick advanced the plot, with Kaito taking advantage of Stacey's authorization to infiltrate Tozitendo's base and meet Boccowaus for the first time. While Stacey learned from Kaito's perspective what it means to have friends who care about him, which he hasn't experienced since his mother disappeared. Presen- Oh wait, I already made that joke this week. I guess this makes me the bot instead, huh? Yeah and Kaito already noticed the resemblance between Ijirude's Toziru Gears and the Zenkaigers' Gears created by his parents. However, Gege does seem to be a completely different species of bird compared to Secchan. It's suspicious though, that Gege seems to have his own agenda.
