Ugh. My appreciation of that is large, and my craving for a Figuarts-scaled Kiva is once again rearing its head. When will Bandai wake! up!?

So I just got a Kiva Emperor Form. And I had this idea for a Royal Court setup. And here is the end result. This is my first time doing this, please be gentle.

Ah nice to see some of my old figuarts in their new home. Cool set up with the Gokai chair buddy.

I did a thing! I got sick of waiting for Kiva and I'd seen people modifying the head of the Converge figure and putting it onto the old Souchaku Henshin, so I figured I'd give that a try myself.
I also got him a miniature violin to play. WAKE UP! The Souchaku head doesn't look too out of place on the Converge figure either.

So... moderate, I guess? Took me probably a couple hours in total. Last edited by IXRollOutIX; 05-09-2017 at 01:13 AM.. |

Depends on the tools at your disposal. I imagine if you have a dremel with a sanding tool it'd be a whole lot easier. You have to expand the hole on the Converge head a fair bit to allow room for the Souchaku's neck. Personally, I just widdled around with a hobby knife then wrapped some sand paper around a dowel before going to town and smoothing the cavity out. From there, you need to shave a little off the top of the peg which pulls out of the Souchaku's head so that there's enough room for it to completely fit inside the new one. Mine is just staying connected with friction and some putty, but you could probably work out a more permanent/solid solution than that.
So... moderate, I guess? Took me probably a couple hours in total. Knowing my luck though, they'll end up announcing an S.S. one in a couple of days or something

Well, since it's a Kiva kind of day, and since I recently reposted these on twitter, I'll repost three of my favorite pics from the SIC Kiva gallery I did here a year and a half ago.
