Maybe I'll find them someday, but for now, I'll just deal
Kamen Rider Black 2. The backstory was...I dunno. It was there. It just kind of felt like an expanded rehash of the first episode, which I wasn't too excited to see. Once the episode got into the swing of things though, and he fought that cheetah monster, I really dug it. I enjoy the Showa-style Kamen Rider fights, so I'm actually excited to see this series go into filler territory, where a monster shows up, causes some problems, and then gets its butt kicked by Black. Does Black have two-parters, or is it just single episodes?

I mean, I figured it was pretty MOTW, I was just wondering if there were more single-episode MOTWs or two-part MOTWs. Even the original series had two-parters, so I didn't think it was out of the question.

No, it's a fair question. V3 was mostly two-parters, too. I don't remember Black having many, though, outside of Shadow Moon's arrival and the final 4-5 episode arc.

Decided to check out episode 1 of Kamen Rider W. It was pretty good, I like the two main characters, the noir theme was pretty cool, and the eviction girl was fun to watch and pretty cute too. Also, with W already being an established rider at the start of the series, there's plenty of room for good backstory.
It seems like a solid series. However, I'm just not that excited to watch it right now. I think I'm going to save W for another time, and either just focus on Black and Ex-Aid, or start Kiva instead*. I'm just not sure if I'll have time to finish an entire series while preparing for my study abroad program that starts in 3 weeks... *I know Kiva isn't very popular, but that Vampire motif and goth aesthetic speaks to me...

Well, I can't stop you but, just go in knowing that you're entering THE INOUE ZONE, where logic and sense dare not tread and you might not turn into a seething mass of ""WTFFFFFFFFFF???". It is a beautifully shot / directed show, despite all that. Also, Wataru is not goth at all, so don't expect brooding teens!

Okay so, Kiva 1. I feel like there was a lot going on in this episode. The dual timelines thing was cool, and they could probably do a lot of interesting things with it, but I worry that it'll be confusing or end up like Arrow, where it just seems too convenient how well everything lines up. I really liked the soundtrack. A lot. Kiva's suit is great, the Fangire suits seemed pretty similar to each other though. The only thing I'm not sure about is Wataru. Trying to recreate the color of his violin? The "world" allergy thing? I'm sure it will be explained, but right now it seems strange. Still, I really dug that episode. I'm not trying to get my hopes up for an awesome series though, seeing how everybody bashes it so much.
