When I was a kid, I always watch Super Sentai and get excited to see them kicking monster’s ass but as I got older, I leaning towards Kamen Rider because it’s more mature as not only characters are complex but villains are more threatening compare to recent Sentai villains.
I guess Super Sentai is aimed for kid audience while Kamen Rider is aimed for teenage audience. That’s my opinion. (I do like Sentai through) |

I like the idea and designs of Super Sentai more, but Kamen Rider tends to be more interesting to watch. Sentai gets too repetitive for me.

I like the designs, characters, and the general themes of Kamen Rider than Sentai. I'm the biggest Sentai fan, but I do like the series. Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Godzilla are my big Toku 3 for me.

I'm more of a Kamen Rider fan. I love the designs and plot and the transformations.
Super Sentai is okay, but I haven't exactly been impressed by the more recent shows (besides Kyuranger, that one was awesome in my opinion). Actually, I'm currently on a Super Sentai break to watch other things. |

Kamen Rider is still aimed towards kids. In Japan, Kamen Rider are view no different how people view shows like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh, and other Shonen Jump series (Kids shows). Toei tends to take Kamen Rider a bit more seriously than Sentai. Maybe because the original Kamen Rider show itself was viewed as "A show for kids that is a bit edgier than a normal kids shows" at the time back in 1971.

Super Sentai I feel is more about enjoying the pageantry compared to Kamen Rider.

Kamen Rider. To me Tokusatsu isn’t entirely about the suits or fighting, it’s about the people, the characters, the stories, instead of people fighting in silly colorful costumes, Which is the actual reason I follow KR, because for a toku mostly it has a proper plot.

Granted I'm more of a Garo/Ultraman guy. But of the two choices I prefer Kamen Rider.
