When favorite rider designs are Decade, Faiz, Skull, and Accel; pricing can get pretty scary

The Figurerise models are pretty intensive builds for beginner modelers, but not the best if you want to be posing them around a lot. They've got some pretty neat little features that are lacking on the Figuarts, but they're not quite as sharp, considering you put it together yourself. TJ Omega has pretty detailed reviews of both the Figurerise and Figuarts iterations of Kamen Rider W's base form, if you'd like to check those out.
As for my personal recommendation, I'd say that the Figuarts are your best option. They're the most value for your money, and if you do intend to start getting more Kamen Rider figures, it'll adhere to a single standard. Even if you just want a few, they're the best that Kamen Rider toys have to offer, besides the expensive 12 inch figures. As for actually getting your hands on them, Mandarake is a fantastic resource. They mostly sell toys that have "damaged boxes" or that have been opened, usually amounting to corner scuffs or cut tape. I know that SH Figuarts Decade Violent Emotion is getting a reissue in August, Faiz is fairly inexpensive in places like Amazon and HLJ and I've seen Figuarts Skull on Mandarake for 3,000-3,500 yen recently. As for W and Accel... good luck. |

Im gonna start collecting the sic figures(the 4 inch ones) and the candy toy sentai zords/megazords.Theyre cheap, mostly easy to find, and are really cool. The SIC figures are cool and the models are great and fun to put together.(plus theyre more posable then the dx versions)
