With Kamen Rider Wizard winding down, rumors of the next Rider series is already beginning to circulate.
Be prepared to ingest some salt with this news posting, but rumor has it that Naomi Takebe will be producing the next Rider series, however much of next year's series still remains a mystery. Naomi is certainly no stranger to Kamen Rider, having previously been the producer for Kamen Rider OOO as well as last year's Tokumei Sentai Gobusters. What are you hoping for out of 2014’s Rider series? Discuss in the thread! SOURCE: DecaEnd of HenshinJustice. Last edited by Kiryu; 06-05-2013 at 03:17 PM.. |

One can assume the tone this series is going to take as a result of her direction. I liked OOO's, somewhat, but i feel Rider should get a bit more serious. Here's hoping she decides on a new direction this time around.

If that's the case then I think her work on Go-Busters will certainly adapt well to a new rider series. I know it wasn't terribly dark but the show had so really great dark moments in it. Kamen Rider needs to get away from the overly wacky and goofy and get back to some of it's more serious roots.

To be fair, the final ten or so episodes of OOO got pretty damn dark. If the next Rider series goes that direction, I definitely welcome it.

I dug OOO. It had a nice mix of serious and silly. What I am surprised at is the fact that Bandai is letting anyone associated with Go-Buster have a second chance. That series was a disaster in terms of ratings and merch sales.
