I saw Nausica of the Valley of the Wind last night and I think it holds up very well. The animation still looks great even over 30 years later. The story and characters are wonderful in my opinion.
I do consider it to be one of my favorite movies from Hayao Miyazaki. It was nice seeing the movie on the big screen and watching it again for the first time since I was 16 in High School. This is how I rank Hayao Miyazaki movies from best to worst in my opinion. Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro - Fantastic NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind - Fantastic The Wind Rises - Fantastic Princess Mononoke - Fantastic Castle in the Sky - Great Porco Rosso - Great My Neighbor Totoro - Very Good Kiki's Delivery Service - Very Good Spirited Away - Very Good (But overrated) Howl's Moving Castle - Good Ponyo - Kinda sucks (His worst movie in my opinion)

He didn't direct that one (Hiromasa Yonebayashi did). Not all Studio Ghibli movies are directed by Hayao Miyazaki. I also consider Isao Takahata to be the best director at Studio Ghibli in my opinion. I like his direction in film better compare to Miyazaki's direction in film.

I have been seeing Cyborg 009: Call Of Justice and it is fun. I like the re-designs of the suits especially they feel like they melded the X-Men First Class suit aesthetics with the original suits. Also I am addicted to the opening theme by MONKEY MAJIK.

Stuff to watch: Osomatsu-san season 2, Gintama Porori arc
Osomatsu was just shut your brain off and laugh at the absurdity and hilarity fun during season 1 so cant go wrong. Plus the cast consists of Jealousit from Gokaiger, Beet Buster from Go-Busters, Commander Dumplings from Kyuranger, Baron Nero from ToQger, Teddy from Den-O, and Other Ankh greed from OOO. Gintama seems to have finally finished its serious arc and this is going back to its more comedic roots so just what I needed.

Demon City Shinjuku - Last year, I re-watch Wicked City in honor of Halloween. This year, I decided to re-watch another classic from Kawajir in honor of Halloween. I still have found memories of me watching this anime back in 1997 on Sci-Fi when I was 6 years old. Demon City Shinjuku is not the best anime from Kawajir, but it's still pretty good in my opinion.
The animation still pretty good-looking for a title that came out almost 30 years ago. The large amount of detail and the coloring in the anime is amazing. Everything has a dark, gothic and spooky feel to it. The atmosphere in this movie really captures the tone of the anime and it works very well. Not to mention the choreography of the fight scenes are very well done too. I also love the monster designs in this movie. It's a shame that we rarely get cool looking monsters in anime these days in my opinion. I also enjoy the story in the anime because I really love the idea of a portal to hell in the city of Shinjuku. It really makes feel like that death is around the corner and any creepy demon can pop up at anytime. The story adds more to the creepy atmosphere in the anime. I do admit that the biggest issue with this movie is that characters could have been better. However I still found them to be pretty enjoyable and the main villain is a fun character. Kyōya Izayoi is still a pretty interesting main character with a fun personality to him. Everyone else could have been written better with some more depth, but I still found them to be memorable. Demon City Shinjuku does have some pacing issues, but I feel like that helps to create the dark, creepy and gothic tone to the anime. It didn't bother me compare to most people to be honest. Motokazu Shinoda also did a pretty good job on the musical score too. The Japanese voice acting is solid and I would highly recommended to watch it in Japanese instead. The English dub for this anime is pretty bad and it was done by the infamous Manga Entertainment UK. They are well-known for producing bad English dubs with tons of swearing to make anime to feel more edgy in the 90's. I do have a somewhat nostalgic soft spot for the English dub because I saw it as a kid on TV. However I can still admit that the English dub is still pretty bad. Overall, Demon City Shinjuku is still a pretty fun anime with great animation, great atmosphere and a cool story. It's a demonic experience that makes me wish that we had more dark, creepy and gothic demonic anime these days. Grade: 7/10

Just watched the three episodes of Houseki no Kuni that are out and I'm absolutely loving this series. I was a bit apprehensive regarding the art style but I think it looks more than fine in practice. I really like everything about it. Really enjoying it.

Watching Osomatsu-san Season 2. Thankfully the hilarity is intact.
Still have not checked out Gintama's new comedic season which I should soon. Also slowly continuing Cyborg 009 Call Of Justice.
