The 2014 Poll has been officially closed with 10,079 votes!
Here are the results: The results and comments have been submitted to Bandai Tamashii Nations for consideration. I'd like to reiterate, these results don't guarantee anything. Its purpose is to collect data on consumer interest within the S.H.MonsterArts line of the Godzilla franchise. The voting page will remain for everyone's viewing. The confirmation "?" will be filled in as new releases are announced. I'll also be providing a link to it on The Articulation Series site and Facebook page. Great Job everyone! |

Yeah, it is basically Godzilla 94 2.0 but they are just calling him Jr from the end of GvsD instead. I wished they had done Bio Goji first, but whatever.

is there a possibility that a gamera one could get made at any point? I just finished the third film in the 90's gamera trilogy and would love to see something like that made.

Didn't think it would be done since the suit is technically inaccurate (I think). Glad they're doing it, will buy and stick on my shelf as regular Godzilla.

No it isn't. The Burning Suit and the 94 suit are the same.

Parts of them are, but not all of them. The larger thighs and all the glowing patches of skin change the dimensions of the suit.
Bandai doesn't seem to intend to explore Gamera at the moment, although there's no certain reason why. Whether it's a matter of lack of interest, inability to schedule Gamera releases in alongside all the Godzilla, Alien and Predator releases, or Bandai can't have the license right now, there is no clear answer and the idea hasn't been directly addressed in a while.

I wish that they will start making more non MA figures. So far we got, Alien and Predator. Why not do Freddy and Jason S.H MonsterArts since those will likely sell well. DBZ S.H MonsterArts could work since Dragon Ball has enough giant size characters.

I prefer that SHM stay mostly focused on Godzilla characters, the occasional one offs are fine. Just my preference. Anyway I missed the pole, but glad to see that Megalon is among the top requested figures.
