Goddamn international copyright laws. Pixy was right...
Point being it was the video for "Rock You Like A Hurricane" because I couldn't think of any good jokes due to being over-exhausted.

I have now seen all of Doctor Who 1963 Series I (1963 - 1964) on DVD with the exception of Mini Series 4 Marco Polo Parts 1 - 7. The Planet Of Giants and The Chase from the 1st Doctor are on DVD. These 2 will very nearly complete my first run of the 1st Doctor. Others not seen will be due to missing episodes.
I've also seen most of the 2nd and 3rd Doctors but will watch any missed when I buy those disks. The mini series I did see is due to Netflix disk rentals. Due to how expensive stream feeds and cable have gotten I watch TV shows on DVD. I won't even turn on over the air TV any more.

I've been debating watching Pretty Cure lately. Anyone here feel strongly about it and want to either push me towards or away from watching the series? I don't know too much about it, just that is is a huge and popular magical girl series known for having more physical fights than normal.

So today I was informed that someone created a Godzilla Analogue Horror thing, where I immediately thought someone was messing with me after having recently had a bizarre Godzilla dream (which now that I think about, would make a perfect Godzilla horror story).
So, in the dream, I was going to G-Fest, where I was the roommate for this guy (whom I'm going to refer to as "Joel" since I believe it was something with a J), who was restoring some old film of an unmade Godzilla movie from the 60's I never heard of called "Apocalypse: Godzilla" which was also getting a remake as the next big Godzilla movie. The movie was set in a post-apocalyptic world where the major world powers nuked the giant monsters, and they were slowly dying from the fallout, but new ones were adapting through the environment. It featured some new monsters, most of which were these skeletal things, a monster only known as "Tsujira," a bird-like monster, and a new Godzilla design which looked like a mix between Gyakushu Goji and Mosu Goji's suits (Raids Again and Mothra, respectively), but a bit like a prototype Shin, which were all pretty unsettling for designs from the 60's. Now the film Joel was sifting through was archival footage from the short production of the movie before being ultimately scrapped intended to be used in a Godzilla documentary but was cut because of some bad history with the director. The clips included: Godzilla marching through a ruin, a skeletal beast making a kind of laughing noise, "Godzilla People" attacking some soldiers, two guys in hazmat suits wandering past some half-skeletonized corpses before one of them collapses, and boy was the audio he spliced in not eerie, or the fact that everything moved ominously slow. And for the creme de la cromme, the last bits were of this guy walking through an old studio with the suits and props (all rotting away, if you've seen any of those images of old suits) at night, talking about what led to the cancellation of the project, before the Godzilla suit started pulsating. Sometimes I wonder what my subconscious cooks up... Last edited by Daikaijuman54; 03-05-2022 at 07:37 PM.. |

I've completed Heartcatch (finally!) and the original particularly would be cool to watch one day, I do generally prefer shows like Cardcaptor Sakura and Shugo Chara to the really big franchises from Toei like Sailor Moon and Precure but I'll still watch them and PGSM 2003 I love!

Stream might start in April or May.
Dino Fury Part 2 (21 - 40) and Cobra Kai Series IV are up for me. In 2023 I may swap over to Hulu for The Orville Series III New Horizons and Futurama Series X. Watching TV shows on DVD mostly. With this in mind I started Agatha Rasin from Acorn TV (Stream exclusive). Also watching Fuller House from Netflix on DVD.
