I do love Matt Smith as the Doctor quite a bit. He's still my favorite Doctor and always a treat to watch. On the other hand I'm getting less confident with Steven Moffat, but he's not too bad too.

If Matt Smith is leaving, I'll be sad. He's a good actor. Anyway, for the next review!:
S1 E6: Dalek- 30/04/05 Under the deserts of Utah, the Doctor encounters his oldest enemy (except for caveman) Plot The TARDIS is dragged of course by a distress signal, landing in an underground vault. They are captured by a businessman, Mr Van Statten, who sends the Doctor to look at his only live alien specimen, the Metaltron. I wonder what it is... a Dalek. Which terrorizes the Doctor out of his mind, until he realises that it can't shoot him, after which he rants about the Time War and tries to kill the Dalek. Rose and Adam (some British kid) go into the Dalek room, where Rose touches it, and it extrapolates her DNA and revives itself. It escapes and starts shooting people. Let me just note here: the Dalek going through the vault and killing people is freaking badass!! They try escaping up stairs, which doesn't work. The Daleks can go up stairs now!!! Adam escapes through a closing bulkhead while Rose is trapped. The Doctor watches through a CCTV as Rose is EXTERMINATED! Not really, the Dalek doesn't kill her, it decides to use her to bargain with the Doctor. It then starts developing emotions, and Rose stops the Doctor shooting it, so it can kill itself. Great work! Rose, the Doctor and Adam go off on an adventure while Van Statten gets his mind wiped! This is the best epsiode yet, with the return of the Daleks hitting hard. The Time War is expanded on, and we get a new companion! 9/10 Characters The Doctor shows some real emotion (shouty anger/sadness), Rose is shown to have a soft spot, and the Dalek's conflict is playes out really well upto it's eventual suicide. 6/10 Scare Factor The Dalek shooting up all the people is quite scare, and so is it's first appearance. They will eventually be nerfed, but in this we are shown the true power of a lone Dalek. 9/10 Bad Wolf Watch- Bad Wolf One is Van Statten's helicopter Overall The best one so far, and possibly the best in the wholo series, this is a must watch. You don't need to see any old episodes to understand it, and it makes an amazing watch! 9/10

Yeah, Dalek was a real gem. It really showed the danger a single Dalek could pose.
No better Dalek episode in the new series except Daleks in Manhattan. I kid, I kid.

Well, the rumors of Matt Smith's regeneration are apparently fake.
Matt Smith confirms starring in Doctor Who in 2014 If he gets a full series in 2014 that makes him the longest running Doctor in the New Series.

I'm on my phone right now so can't post a link but I thought I'd drop in to say sources are reporting David Tennant and Billie Piper are confirmed for the 50th anniversary special!

Rumor also has it that Paul McGann and the actors playing the Hartnell and Troughton in the Doctor Who origin movie will be appearing, too. Sadly, the same rumor says Chris Eccleston has dropped out of it.

This reminds me that it is impossible to see the first three Doctors, may they all rest in peace.

Sad about Christopher Eccleston, his participation would have completed to trio of New Series Doctors. No matter, I do hope we'll see as many Classic Doctors as possible.
