The GM can just rig the DGP if he wanted to it seems in terms of Riders. Having Tsumuri invite Neon when the game is already underway since too many Riders were dying and dropping Monster for Punk Jack at the start. The only thing he can't control is the Jyamato.
I wonder if the Jyamato have their own GM controlling them...maybe this is all a game to between multiple GMs. seems the DGP staff are getting tired of Ace winning? To be honest, if Keiwa, Neon or Azuma wins, its not that bad? Their wishes will not hinder Ace's goal in the slightest. With how the DGP is getting shady, Ace maybe can get Keiwa a job as a staff to look into it? xD Hope Azuma's wish is different from the previous round. He seems to be less hostile this time around, shown with Letter and Keilow. The white goat did not last long as expected and said. Fever debuts next episode~ |

It's Super Hero Time!
Looks like I was wrong about survivors earning the right to participate in the next game. Giroli just picks whoever he sees fit, which means hypothetically even Kanato and Morio could come back, provided their qualifications are renewable. One of the expendable extra Riders in this roster was called Zelgar, like gazelle backwards, could've been one of Touru's assailants perhaps? There seems to be a side effect for retired players, with Neon being submissive to Irumi, Keiwa wanting to eat sushi instead of tanuki soba and Michinaga being an Ace fan. Like they've lost their desires as well as their memories, until they rejoin the DGP. I think Neon's father, Kurama Kousei, might be affiliated, he sounds like he knows something about what's going on. Must have got some intel from the City Guardians. Since Giroli secretly wants to eliminate Geats, it makes sense that he would have a bias for guys like Michinaga who will make the game difficult for him. Here comes Punkjack, Hareruya Win, with the Secret Mission to eliminate Geats. It was humorous how Ace initially dismissed him as just some random idiot until he did a double take after seeing the familiar brown bear head. Win denies being that Punkjack from before and his silent persona paid off as Michinaga totally doesn't believe they could be the same dude. I'm enjoying Win a lot so far, he's got a lot of punk rocker energy and his DGP staff status could make him an unpredictable variable. Even Punkjack Monster has grown on me now that I've seen it in action, that chaotic mix of colors suits his personality. Win/Tsumuri gets some setup here, although Ace is against it, which reminds me of Gou being against Kiriko/Chaser. Na-Go Beat is a red mage, as she buffs Keilow to encourage him to fight and she uses fire, thunder and ice elemental attacks. That's a pretty OP Raise Buckle and I'm surprised how Tsumuri gave it to her for free. Neon acts a lot more confident now after getting her memories and desire back, a veteran like Ace and Michinaga. Na-Go Beat is currently my favorite Desire Rider aesthetically and I look forward to seeing BeatBoost! Ace's first desire that he made 2021 years ago was to continue to participate in the DGP until he dies, which I guess is how he managed to live for so long. Does that mean he could literally die if he ever stops playing? He's already outlived his natural lifespan. Giroli probably didn't expect him to be skilled enough to survive for so long when he approved the desire. Now Ace has granted a desire for the DGP staff to adopt him as family, with Tsumuri being his older sister and Giroli being his father, which implies that Giroli is old even by their standards, despite looking only 10 years older on the surface. Ace finally confesses his true desire to Neon, maybe he feels like he can confide in her due to their similarities, as even though Ace always wins, he still can't get what he really wants. It's nice that he can have someone to talk to about this, as Tsumuri is doing a pretty bad job at the whole big sister thing. Can we get an F for Letter? .... Do you see what I did there?

And yes, Neon father is totally in with DGP management while the changes in personality of characters who didn?t win are a red flag. |

Watched the episode. Yes, in fact, this is the beginning of the second arc of the show, when accents are placed and questions are asked. By the way, apparently the scriptwriters read the comments of the audience, since they decided to show the cowardice of ordinary people thrown into battle. Also, this round immediately got rid of almost all background characters. I wonder how long Grandpa will last? The change in the characters of the former players, which is not associated with a change in reality (otherwise Sarah would not have noticed it) is an alarming sign. Father Neon is super suspicious. The desire of the GameMaster to get rid of Gits is understandable in principle, because predictability destroys the very charm of the game. And with the protection of the world, as can be seen from the finals of the previous DGP, Ace does not cope very well(In the 8th episode, Tsumuri noted that they lost more civilians than ever). So PunkJack will try to fake his death or loss of skill in the most unsuspicious way.
The beat is, of course, an extremely powerful buckle. Under the previous comments they called the cheating Ninja, but the Beat gives elemental attacks, and also allows you to control Jamato and even other riders. In fact, it can only be surpassed with Boost and / or Ninjas that give super speed, but Zombies have no chance against him. My new theory: DGP is a Gamemaster game. Playing with itself, something like solitaire. Most likely, this game has some useful purpose, besides the entertainment of the organizer, but it is unlikely that it is too altruistic. Jamatos were created by the Gamemaster specifically for the game, but later they began to quickly evolve on their own and, at the same time, Ace continues to persistently search for a clue to the essence of DGP. So now the Gamemaster is losing control of the game and is doing everything to restore it. |

Sad the goat girl went bye-bye. We better get a new female rider soon following Na-Go!
Sucks Neon and Keiwa forgot about meeting Ace from before. |

Another solid episode, although Win has brought with him the cringey humor from other recent Rider shows. He's got long-term cast member energy, though, so I don't see him going anywhere. With Michinaga, we've now got two Riders who are effectively villains.
Keilow... (is there a cross-language pun involving "owl" there?) I'm assuming that he'll either be killed in the next episode or somehow win this DGP against all odds, to be replaced by a young-adult actor. Man, the ageism in this episode is laid on thick. I'm very curious about the comment the Game Master made about "the culling." Is numerous Riders being killed in round one part of the game's design? Maybe a mass sacrifice in order to achieve some unknown effect? The DGP continues to be as ominous as ever. The episode's check-in with Keiwa seems to indicate that, yep, the show has settled on a core of 4-5 Riders (I wouldn't even guess at PunkJack's staying power,) so we may be moving away from Rider-elimination being a regular story occurrence. Keiwa's sister - who we've seen surprisingly frequently for a supporting character - once again appearing makes me continue to wonder whether she'll eventually become a Rider. Keiwa is still in the opening credits, and the staging (him and Ace looking off-screen at one another) still proudly implies he's our other main character. Speaking of the opening sequence, there are a couple of beats (one at the beginning, the other before Ace) where other current-Rider faces would appear. Neon will slot into one of them, and I'm assuming Tycoon will join her eventually. Presumably, Letter will get scratched-out for the next arc. The show still isn't directly addressing the question of why the DGP seems to be able to re-write reality, but can't get rid of the Jyamato. Come to think of it, no Rider desires we've seen have included "eliminate the Jyamato threat permanently." For new Riders, I understand that, but seriously, none of the returning Riders have even tried it...? Something doesn't smell right about that. The show is starting to buckle (pun unintended) a little under the weight of the toy lines. Wow, Beats and that guitar/axe got a ton of screen time. The show continues to be terrific at intrigue, and is still the most watchable Rider series in years. (Given that I thought Build and Zero-One were great, that's saying something.) I only hope it continues to live up to its narrative potential. |

Ugh, Keiwa's back already? I knew it was too much to hope that we were done with him.

Not yet. There was a one minute scene with him showing that his character had changed. But the episode already stated that this DGP will add new riders during the game, so it has every chance to return.
