Huh...Isn't Kikai like technically the first base cyborg rider we've gotten in Heisei?

Feels like an obvious throwback to how most of the first Showas were augmented humans.

Plus the clothes and shit match up incredibly well with Kikaider's civilian look from the original series so it's definitely a call back

It has happened a couple of times recently, although mostly movies or secondary characters - see Rider 3 and Rider 4 or Mad Rogue from Build.

Honestly this is INCREDIBLY embarrassing and someone WILL get fired for this regardless of what happens next. Though imagine if those idiots were just talking about Agito Trinity, that'd be hilarious.
