Can you say Guy Shishioh from GGG?
Still love it!

I could never really get over the gold braids on Hyper Muteki. The figure and suit themselves are nice though.

What weird designs...
The gold plating highlights are nice, even if it does make the rest of the Hyper Muteki figure look a little dull. As for Maximum Gamer, as a toy it's incredibly disappointing only being half a shell, but it almost works for me as the giant armor upgrade it's emulating. Still not a fan of the big ol' face in the front though.

Ah, still not a huge fan of the Ex-Aid designs. Looking at this gallery really reinforces the fact that I only want Figuarts, too. I understand it's supposed to be "standard"-type quality, but it's hard to swallow after seeing so many beautiful Figuarts. I really feel like this guy would be a prime candidate for the Figuarts treatment, though. It's really fierce, but those huge goggle eyes just don't do it for me.

Action poses seem a thing of past. At least the gold painting seems good.

The big guy has got to be one of the goofiest things out of Ex-Aid but it kinda works.
Hyper Muteki is an..interesting design. It's definitely better than Ghost's final forms were at least.

The main figure is very nice.
The shell is a shell. |

For a gimmick figure, it's decent enough. Would have preferred an actual posable Maximum Gamer, though.

Ah Hyper Muteki, truly a faithful Super Mode for a video game, also has a rocking tune when it comes to the jingle. But it's also scary whenever we get to the SH Figuarts because how would they work with the hair you know? It definitely looks nice but sad because they included the shell that they couldn't include any weapons.
It's a shame that Maximum Mighty X is just a shell but considering the way the Level 1's and 10 got treated I had a feeling it would be the same because of how the suit was built. Not to mention the transformation sequence all but sealed that deal with it being a shell. |

Both these forms look so freaking ridiculous, and I love it. But I will echo everyone else, I just wish Maximum wasn't a shell
