The Rangers' skills are put to the test when Blaze uses evil tech to massively enhance his Robotron's destructive power.

Different, with a slightly more realistic plot.
One of the best aspects was the set-dressing, as it included an interesting aspect of franchise history: monster references. Zoey and Nate watch the same movie together, and based on the name and art on the posters, Revenge of the Hydra Worm, it's clear that this is a wink-and-a-nod to the Hydra Worm Monster of Mystic Force, which just recently got the Morphylogeny Treatment: http://sirstack.db-destiny.net/morphylogeny/1603.htm! Also get a little unmorphed Devon action, which is uncommon as unmorphed characters usually don't get to fight monsters! P.S.: There were two Tubatron's in Go-Busters, but I think they switched their Gigadrone's around. The Alpha-Model was the OG Tubazord and the Beta-Model was the second Tubazord in source material, but I think they flipped it here. |

A really good episode. Hasbro era needs more episodes like these (and remove Ben and Betty completely).

Elements of the Neo-Saban Era remain: The "need" for a comedic duo to ripoff Bulk and Skull! Kids seem to love these comedic goofs while the older crowd would rather try to enjoy a pleasant Saturday Morning puking rather than deal with weirdly-crafted attempts at juvenile humor. I'm a little torn as to where to fit such duos in the shows, if they should figure at all. One problem is that a duo doesn't last too far beyond two seasons and we never get to see them progress as Bulk and Skull did. |

Without giving too much away, the implications of the end of the season (due to International Spoilers) suggests that Ben and Betty will only become more prominent as time elapses.

Honestly, I actually enjoyed Beast Morphers even with the childish feel because they're actually good when they're focusing on the Rangers. But every second they focus on Ben and Betty it's like they wanted to remind you that this is a kindergarten show and it really cringes me out. You know if I post this criticisms on Reddit I'm gonna get downvoted to hell. People over there treat Beast Morphers like the second coming and forbids any criticisms.

This is may be due to nostalgia and I need to rewatch it again, but Disney era handled the Bulk and Skull characters well with Cassidy and Devin, Boom and Piggy and so on.

I rewatched almost all of Disney era in the last year and it's not nostalgia. The comedy relief characters we got when well (Like the ones you mentioned) were enjoyable and didn't over stay their welcome. But when the did bad with them we got the nieces from Ninja Storm.
