So I'm late to this most likely, but i only just found out about this, as I'm getting back into KR stuff again
https://kamenrider.fandom.com/wiki/Eiji_Hino#Seiuchi KamenRider OOOs has 26 new medals 5 new combo, and a one off. WOW! COOL! Time for a bit of fan speculation! What do people think: -Each medal's power would grant? - Each of the new 5 core set combined-combo-power would be? (Ex: Gatakiriba's could used got copy self when used together) - What a good Combo Name for each combo? (Like how Latorartar's Combo is called "Scorching Combo") -What kind of kind of want/desire a the greeed who be from each? I would really like to know, cause I've been thinking about running an RPG-table-top game based on OOOs for a while. So I look forward to some ideas @u@ Last edited by MechanovaKing; 04-16-2020 at 11:50 PM.. |

I've seen people plan tabletop rpgs about Kamen Rider as a franchise, but never one in specific.
How would an rpg around OOO work?

The new combos already have official names; they're on the Kamen Rider Wiki.

Allegedly someone on 4chan translated all their powers already, Sai_44 on reddit found out and post the translations here: https://www.reddit.com/r/KamenRider/...clusive_combo/
Bare-bones overvew: SaRaMiuo (Same, Kujira, Ookamiuo) - Designed specifically for underwater combat, emphasizes overpowering strength vs ShaUTa's focus on speedy punches and kicks. BiKaSo (Ebi, Kani, Sasori) - OOO most agile form. Its medals provide: enhanced sensory abilities (mainly hearing and sight), powerful claws, and poison tipped feet (the poison actually paralyzes foes by attacking the nervous system). ShiGazeShi (Shika, Gazelle, Ushi) - Designed for charging attacks, combines sharp yet durable horns with powerful legs to create a nearly unstoppable ramming force. MukaChiRi (Mukade, Hachi, Ari) - Essentially OOO's "Ninja" form, together its medals allow OOO to sneak up to targets and poison them without making a sound. SeiShiroGin (Seiuchi, Shirokuma, Penguin) - Designed for Arctic combat, like SaRaMiuo this form also excels at overpowering its foes, albeit while the opponent is crippled by the harsh cold. (Yadokai) - Essentially the spikes rotate over the hands give OOO drill arms. Again, credit to Sai_44 for posting this stuff on reddit in the first place. Lastly, on the off chance these aren't what the medals and combos do... Well at least you have something you can work off (shrugs). |

I mean how the combos have secondary names. Like how Latorartar Combo is called "Scorching Combo" or Sagohzo Combo is called "Gravity Combo" Like we do have the basic names but not the combo names. (Ill edit to OP to be a little more clear) Quote:

Well at least you have something you can work off (shrugs). Thank you very much for this find. But it does takes a bit of the wind out of my sails, I was hoping to see what people would come up with. I'd still be interested in what people come up with if they have better ideas. (I think more than half these medals just helping fighting in the water.) Still! Takes the main question away but leaves the other questions: - Each of the new 5 core set combo power would be? - What a good name for each combo would be? (Like how Latorartar Combo is called "Scorching Combo") -And an important one if I want to use this for any sort of story: -What kind of kind of want/desire a the greeed who be from each? - Last edited by MechanovaKing; 04-14-2020 at 01:43 PM.. |

It's been a while since I watched OOO and I forget the titles of the original combos, so apologies if some of these are repeats:
SaRaMiuo - Deep-sea Combo BiKaSo - Clawed Combo ShiGazeShi - Grassland Combo MukaChiRi - Swarming Combo SeiShiroGin - Blizzard Combo I also don't remember what types of desire the original sets were based on, all I recall is that their Greeed counterparts created different types of Yummies: Ankh - Yummies keep their host in a secure location while bringing them things they desire (like a mother bird bringing food for her chicks) Kazari - Yummies merge with their hosts like parasites and use their body to pursue their desire (not sure how this relates to cats) Uva - Yummies start off as the basic form before molting into a complete form, and consume what their host desires (like how insects metamorphosize) Mezool - Yummies nest and then hatch in swarms to violently help their host achieve their desire (like fish spawning in large numbers) Gamel - Yummies are created already complete from Gamel's own desires (again, not sure how this relates to large animals) Dr. Maki - Yummies have objects for hosts instead of people, and destroy desire instead of feeding off it (because the purple medals are the absence of desire) So based on that, here's how I imagine the Yummies created by these new Greeed would behave: Deep-sea Greeed - all Yummies created by this Greeed are giant monsters instead of human-sized, they try to destroy any obstacles between their host and their desire with overwhelming force (based on how big whales are) Clawed Greeed - these Yummies make hidden burrows in a location related to their host or their desire and claim that place as theirs, emerging to attack anyone they judge to be an intruder (based on how crabs and scorpions bury themselves to hide) Grassland Greeed - these Yummies are able to mimic the appearance of their hosts, and will spend most of their time impersonating their host and pursuing their desires that way, only revealing their monstrous true form when they need its power (based on how herd animals use large numbers to confuse predators) Swarming Greeed - these Yummies gather materials to build a hive or nest for their host based on their desire, and if the host doesn't stay there willingly, the Yummy will keep them there by force (based on bees and ants building hives and anthills) Blizzard Greed - these Yummies put their host into a deep sleep, during which the host experiences vivid dreams of their desire while the Yummy fights to prevent anyone from waking them up (based on arctic animals hibernating through the winter) |

I always saw Gamel's thing was because he was big and dumb stereotype which have childish simple wants, and the animals he was often get big and dumb stereotype as well. Any thoughts on what the combined-combo-powers of each set would be? |

These are all great, but Grassland Greeed and Blizzard Greed are outstanding ideas, I'm going to use those ones for SURE! @u@ There's so much you can do with that.
I always saw Gamel's thing was because he was big and dumb stereotype which have childish simple wants, and the animals he was often get big and dumb stereotype as well. Any thoughts on what the combined-combo-powers of each set would be? And yeah, that explanation of Gamel's methods makes sense. As for the combo powers of OOO's new forms... let's see... SaRaMiuo - unlike ShaUTa which turns into water, maybe this form can control external water to attack enemies with high-pressure jets or trap them in whirlpools? Alternately, since all the animals that make it up are quite large, maybe they let Eiji grow to giant size (if that was the case, it would probably be one of his rarer-used combos, like GataKiriBa). BiKaSo - I'm thinking this form can create shockwaves of pressurized air, either broad blunt blasts to knock things away or narrow slices to cut at a distance, by channeling the powers of a pistol shrimp or mantis shrimp through the crab's claws or the scorpion's stinger. ShiGazeShi - since it's built for charging, super speed seems fitting, although that might be too similar to LaToraTar. Maybe instead it would have the power to... how do I phrase this... repeat impacts, I guess? As in, he hits a monster once but then a flurry of additional impacts happen shortly after, so that a single punch or kick is enough to "trample" the enemy. MukaChiRi - does OOO have a burrowing form yet? It would've been more perfect for a rodent or tunneling-mammal themed combo, but digging through the ground and popping up somewhere else could also fit this form's animals, and it's suitable for a stealthy ninja type. SeiShiroGin - obviously something to do with ice, I know PuToTyra already has some association with ice because it freezes enemies before the finisher, but this form would be able to do much more with it like creating ice walls or shooting icicles. |

Hmmmmmmmm
In my OOO adaptation, Chiyoko, Kousei, and Erika all get Rider forms based on the new Combos. Chiyoko gets BiKaSo (ImCraCor), Kousei gets ShiGazeSi (DeGazeLe), and Erika gets SeiShiroGin (WalPolaGuin).
