The Rising Sun Tokusatsu Blog has posted an early preview of Hyper Hobby Magazine's interview with Gen Urobuchi, the lead writer in charge of Kamen Rider Gaim.
Several tidbits about this upcoming Kamen Rider project were revealed in discussion, including: Quote:
*Gaim will abandon the two-episode story format used by every Kamen Rider series since Den-O.
*Production of the series was delayed in order to put together a short anniversary tribute to the Hesei Era. *Urobuchi intends to maintain a more dramatic portrayal of Kamen Rider; comparing Gaim to early Hesei Riders like Kuuga or Faiz. |

Everything about this sounds amazing. Haters can hate the fruit all they want but I feel a return to the darker Heisei era coming! The 2 episode format has always irritated me, to the point that I tend to wait 2 weeks and watch the whole arc at once. And now that we know Wizard's final episodes will feature the Heisei tribute it makes much more sense why Gaim is both running later in production and why he didn't appear in Magic land.

I am loving this, every piece of this. The two episode arc needs to die, and I love he compared Gaim to Kuuga! BRING ON THE JUICY!

A more darker series? I can do that, as Ive felt Rider should be a more darker series than the last few. Oh and- JUICY!

I like every single word of this. Especially the dropping of the two-episode arc format.
I just hope it's not too like Faiz. |

Like I've been saying, I want nothing more than this series to do a complete 180 from what people are expecting. Maybe just so Sentai can look back on this whole juicy thing and wonder how he could possibly have expected something cheerful to come out of this show. Maybe.

Dropping the 2-episode arcs?
Darker show like the early Heisei? Multiple Riders? YES! So much yes! If this show can keep up it's awesome premise then we will get a winner show, with every new reveal I'm looking forward more and more to Gaim. Please be awesome Gaim. |

I'm glad they're dropping the two episode story arch thing, that gets kinda annoying sometimes.

If it's anything like Blade, then count me on board.
