I am not sure where to put this topic so I choose to put it here. For those who are both a Super Sentai and Power Rangers fan: do you know what mechas were edited out of Power Rangers when transferring Super Sentai footage into Power Rangers? Of course this does not apply to the pre-Zyuranger mechas. I am talking about Zyuranger to the present. I know Goseiger's Datas and Mystic brother was skipped over, and of course Go Busters completely. But what else never made it over from Japan?

I'm thinking about it and while the order in which the mecha were used (S3 of MMPR) was changed, or toy versions being different or omitted (Wolkaizer), Power Rangers has featured almost everything.
Was the Blast Buggy used in SPD or Engine DaiShogun used in RPM? Even Bakurren-Oh was used in limited form. |

The Mechas cockpit in Shinkenger didn't make it over to Power Rangers and a original one was made for Samurai. I suspect its because the Japanese theme was too heavy with the wall scrolls on the wall so they changed it.
I predict the same thing is going to happen for Power Ranger's adaptation of Nininnger. Their cockpit is unique, and Power Rangers would change it to something more western-friendly. Last edited by White Tiger; 01-28-2015 at 08:53 PM.. |

I think the cockpit in MMPR season 2 was made just for our set.

There was a Megazord released in the Wild Force line called "Ultimus" using a Red Gorilla; the concept was taken from a GaoRanger movie exclusive combo called "GaoKnight."
Neither appeared in Wild Force. |

I'm pretty sure Dino Thunder didn't use BakurenOh. But again he was a movie exclusive mecha who only got a small appearance in the actual show. I could be wrong about him appearing in Dino Thunder though.

It did but it was only for a few minutes. It was in Episode 36. It was called the Blizzard Force Megazord.
