Hey, Excite Subs? Love the work, keep it up, but if you fabricating plot points through mistranslations is the price I pay for the episode releasing early, I'd rather just wait a couple extra days. All Emu said there was "Dan Masamune must have programmed Kiriya to act like a different person to use him as a pawn". This should be glaringly obvious simply from watching the episode, given the whole back half is about trying to Re-Reprogram Kiriya back to normal. Anyway, good episode. I was wondering if Kiriya's actor really was back or if we were just going to see the Lazer suit for awhile longer to drag out the suspense. I'm glad he's back out of the suit, too. I wasn't as big of a fan of him as some are, but I did really like the guy and it's nice to have him back. And yeah, he is totally playing along with Cronus here. Hell, Emu literally says "if this is what you want to do I'll play along." Still a good guy. Side note: it has been so long since we saw any of the level 3 powers in action that it took me awhile to figure out what the hell form Ex-Aid was using at the start of the episode. Looking forward to the next episode and seeing Emu go Super Saiyan 3 (shouldn't be as surprised as I am that the final form looks ridiculously stupid) while Hiiro embraces the Legacy of the Taddles. |

Soooo....pretty much every Rider in this show has been a villain at some point, including Emu himself (albeit very briefly and while possessed by Pallad but it counts lol).
Also, who would have thought earlier this season that Emu would be relying on Taiga, Kuroto and Nico for backup?

Well at this point, considering what they're up against, both sides pretty much have no choice. This is what the show is doing so great that I love: they took Dan, a character who we set up to be such an irredeemable villain, and made him into an ally of the heroes without actually making him a good guy! Heck, one of the best things I liked about Dan's turnover to the heroes' side was when they revealed the whole thing about Poppy being Dan's mother. That Episode made it out as if they were gonna have Dan get all sympathetic towards his transformed mother, and that they were gonna try and make him a sympathetic villain by having him have some deep, relatable reason for why he chose to infect his mother with the Bugster virus.....but NOPE! Dan just brushes that aside & reveals he intentionally did that stuff, with NO REGRETS. The dude is still a scumbag, and I LOVE it. It's one of the reasons Dan is such a great "scumbag evil" villain. The best villains are the villains you LOVE to HATE.

^Well said! I respect the writers for the way Kuroto's character has been handled so far. Though to be honest, I don't love to hate him as much as I just love him at this point.
Boy have I missed Kiriya, I had to watch this episode twice! When Kiriya said he doesn't need to be saved, I immediately thought it meant he hadn't been reprogrammed, plus Chronos said the same thing (unless it was a bluff or something) but who knows. Either way, I look forward to learning what he whispered in Emu's ear and what his plans are. Even though I expected Emu to get hurt, a kick in the face? Damn. I love all the drama and mystery, but I also want these two to be partners again. I don't know, I haven't been this excited for new episodes in a couple of KR seasons at least.

Got all caught up on Ex-Aid today! I have to agree, Kuroto is a fantastic character. He's long since surpassed Lazer as my favorite, though we'll see if Kiriya can earn it back now that he's on the show again. Also, the respawn pipe continues to be funny. Did he do a Mario "woo hoo" on his way out of it in this one?
Also, what's up with the fansubs suddenly using "delete" instead of kill? Noticed that in the last few episodes. |

The show has generally used the same term for these things, which translated directly would probably be "vanish" or "disappear," but since we took that to be an euphemism for dying subbers tended to just go with the overt idea. Now that we know that the people don't really die, though, the more indirect terms feel more accurate.

Nope, Toei takes videos down in 2 minutes. Kissasian may work, they're essentially kissanime and upload subbed versions by any source they find
