Reactivated my account on here to talk about this thing.
First off so figure, not kit? That's a shame because I really want more super robot kits after the Gundam Tryon-3 and Go Saurer kits. Also the price thing. But I'll wait and see, maybe we're wrong about what it is. Next up, what might be the single most interesting thing to me. That Hasbro is listed as being the partner in this project. Maybe it's just the US announcement, but if Toei or Bandai Japan were involved, you'd think their names would be on there for legal reasons. This figure or kit is definitly going to get a release on Hasbro Pulse though. Finally, speaking of Hasbro, I wonder if this line will also see their own transform and combine characters. We might be seeing Transformers combiners through this, and with less restrictions than a mass market brand like Generations would have. Maybe a bunch of the Japanese show combiners like Roadceaser, Leokiaser, JRX, etc. |

Considering how much some Masterpiece Transformers go for Hasbro probably figured this would be a good fit for Power Rangers Fans. A lot of those old Zord Designs need an upgrade like this.
I also wonder if this Figure will get a response from Bandai Legal or Otherwise. Hasbro and Takara Tomy have Transformers locked down in the US and Japan, but Power Rangers is a different story. I'd be amazed if this is released in Japan officially and not just in the USA. Last edited by Deku; 01-20-2021 at 04:33 PM.. |

I can see where the thought of it being different would come from, but the thing is that Hasbro's been doing a lot of merch - especially MMPR - for the franchise's legacy constantly since 2018. They're clearly fine to use it and to license it out to whoever they like; this would get them in as much legal trouble as LC Zeo Green or those combining MMPR zords.

Just to give people a better idea what Flame Toys Dino Megazord will look like in Plastic Diecast Metal Form.
This is $399 Btw, I expect Megazord will cost even more. |
