Does anyone know if the production company behind the Kamen Rider series are different than the production company behind the Super Sentai series?
The reason why I'm asking is because after downloading all these shows from http://krdl.info/index.php I started watching Ryuki, and being that it's an older show, it didn't strike me too odd that the show felt different. Then I checked out Fourze, and the same feel is there, albeit more polished. Did anyone ever notice that Kamen Rider seems to be shot on HD Cameras and Sentai is shot on flim? At least the post processing is different on both shows right? Sentai feels more like a film quality, where as KR feels more gritty and real. The same feel applies to Garo as well.

If I remember right, Rider's been shot on video since Kuuga. Dunno about Sentai, but you may be right.

I also notice that KR has more freehand cam shots while Sentai has more steadicam or dolly cam shots

It's all still done by TV-Asahi and Toei I believe... but differences in style all comes from different creative teams.
