I'm mostly joking, sorry -- I've just seen the idea that Hasbro's figures will be perfect adult-orientated amazingly articulated figures "because transformers generations" peddled around a lot, so when I saw this it was too perfect. The Wild Force one and the solid looking one are definitely along the lines of the megalocks/gimmick stuff we see a lot of and not anywhere near indicative of the main figures we're usually concerned with. I'm not THAT type of fan that harps on anything that looks even vaguely non-articulated or acts like everything in a -kid's toyline- should cater to me -- they're who I meant to make fun of
Though the first one definitely seems to be the main combining one, not sure what else it could be.

For what it is, that Beast X Ultrazord doesn’t look too bad. I think the combining version will look much better, but this is just meant to be a big chunk of plastic with lights and sounds, and for a big chunk of plastic with lights and sounds, it looks fine.
Also, kinda confused by the one on the left. It doesn’t look all that different from the BOJ version, so I can’t tell if it’s a new mold or not. Last edited by legotron123; 02-08-2019 at 12:40 PM.. |

Yeah, bringing up a picture of the Japanese version, the legs are definitely longer, and the rabbit arm things hanging off the shoulders are grey instead of black.

Like the toys were only ever going to look as good as the actual mecha, which are some of the crappiest, cluster-fuckiest mecha Sentai's ever done. At least it looks somewhat more proportioned, even if it's still impossible to make out just what it going on. |

The Great Go-Buster on the left is clearly not the same as the one on the right. It's possible that one is targeted towards us. Looks to be proportioned differently than it's Japanese counterpart, maybe in consideration of more articulation? All the ball joints in the world won't do a thing if the toy is chunky af.
