Yeah even back when I joined the fandom in 2013-2014 Decade had kind of a bad rep. It's only really recently has the show been given a more positive reputation really. If your really curious I can pull up some old forums from around when Decade was trademark and even some reactions from some fans as the show was airing. But I think a major contention was always the AR stuff. It a pretty bold move both pulling the nostalgia card why also not at the same time.

Speculation time: Since Decade's aired, we've had a whole 'nother anniversary season for fans to get mad over, a lot of anniversary crossover movies, and generally a bigger focus on past Riders (see all the merch). All this means fans who want to see old Riders come back are satisfied for an itch Decade didn't scratch, and Decade's fans get to see Tsukasa come back every couple of years to take some photos.

This is a little surprising to me, that Decade might have an unflattering reputation. Between the continuing appearances of Tsukasa over the next 10+ years (he just got a new crossover special!) and the number of fans who say they came in through Decade (basically everyone but me), I thought it was an upper-tier show. Curious now to try and figure out what might not work for people!

Right and no Power Rangers after that, and every reason to believe RPM was the very last one, which lead people to watch Shinkenger.

Personally, I never believed RPM would be the last. All it took for Saban Brands to buy back the IP was to see how Disney were joking around in 2010, almost like they were begging someone to take it off their hands. And I was having such a great time with Double and Goseiger that I barely noticed what was happening in the background with PR.

On a hard drive!
... Oh, like, where is the post for Episode 2? Well, I've got to watch it still, and then the person I'm working with on it has to watch it, and then we both have to find time to chat about it, and then I've got to edit everything together, and then I've got to post it here. It's not the sort of thing I can just knock out every day, unfortunately! Here's a bit from the first post in this thread where I touch on that very point: Quote:
The process of watching and writing about this show is way more complex than every other Watch thread, so I don’t know exactly when episode posts are going to drop. The plan, a week before I start watching this show, is to have a new post go up between Sunday and Tuesday, and another post go up between Thursday and Saturday. Two posts each week, and each post will cover one World Of story. (Like, you’re about to read an Episode 1 post, and then in a few days you’ll read an Episode 2-3 post, then an Episode 4-5 post, etc.) The logistics of working with a large group of international contributors means that there are probably going to be some times where schedules don’t line up, and things get delayed. Hopefully not too often, but I’ve never tried to do a project like this before. Please bear with us!

Honestly it fine this can't be easy coordinating with a bunch of people on the internet. Especially since this is the first time even attempting it. And even if it wasn't and this was a just normal Die thread take all time you need. Don't rush it.
