Hello there, new British member here!
Thought I'd take the time to introduce myself! Was a fan of Power Rangers since season 1 (Quit during Turbo, came back for Lost Galaxy, been on/off since), made the step to sentai via Zyuranger in 2013, which was a gateway into tokusatsu, leading me also to Kamen Rider and my personal favourite, Garo. Been reading these forums for a while and finally took the plunge & registered!

Hello there. Im Chris, aka BlueBuster, (ill explain that later). Um, i'm from Lima, Peru. You know, that mid size country next to Brazil in South America, not a big deal. (just kidding, i know all of you know that).
The reason why i joined to this forum was because of my interest on Super Sentai and Tokusatsu in general. In fact i loved them when i was a kid, unlike most of you guys i was exposed to Super Sentai series first as they aired in my country dubbed in spanish (Choushinsei Flashman, Choujuu Sentai Liveman) in the early 90s, so when Power Rangers aired years later i was well aware of what those colored-suits heroes were. But i was also fooled, initially i thought that some guy in the States did an adaptation and by extension the story was new, but due the soft and childish nature of the original Power Rangers those series didn't caught my attention and to this day i dont like them, i preferred more to stick to the memories of the series i watched as a young kid with mature themes, anyway. i grew up and of course i knew what it was all about. The reason why i picked this nickname is because i feel a very close bond to the character of Blue Buster, when the series first aired i felt an instantaneous link, we're like two drops of water due the similarity, much like Ryuji im about his age, and i had to deal with young people in my job as the elder of the group, and even both show our anger in a similar fashion. Anyway i hope not to have over extended with this introduction, if you have any questions feel free to ask. Oops i forgot... Busters, ready go!. |
