Dyna Robo
Dyna Robo takes all of the design elements of Goggle Robo and pretty much improves all of them. The primarily blue body allows the small hints of yellow and red to pop so well. As a result the entirely red cone head becomes a very striking element of the design in addition to it just looking way better than Goggle Robo's head. It's really solid looking robot and I don't really have any complaints about it. Bio Robo Like wise with Dyna Robo, I think Bio Robo is a really solid robot. Its colour scheme of black, red and silver all work really well together and the design looks a little more angular especially with the shoulders and head. Similarly to Cosmo Vulcan, I do like that how both Bio Jets have a completely different colour scheme to Bio Robo. To sum it up, Bio Robo looks really good. Next week, Changeman and Flashman |

Dyna Robo is vibrant and relatively solid on its own (and arguably takes the "cake" when referring to the first Sentai Mecha adaptation, given the dub parody), but the individual vehicles are a tad childish/cheesy and don't jive in today's world (saying that when Zyuohger made blocks marketable). The weapons and attacks are all very typical, and I wasn't necessarily moved with Dyna Robo's final battle in the series.
Bio Robo also suffers, but not in the same manner. The individual Jets are minor and aren't that significant. The top-half makes a decent Jet, but the second-half looks like flying legs with a nosecone! Bio Robo was clearly ultra-obvious marketing done surprisingly well! An old designation for the Mecha of Gear was "fodder", and that isn't inaccurate! The giant battles were largely, but not always mind you, obligatory and a well-crafted bid to sell Bio Robo! Some Gear Mecha were apparently central to an episode's plot, and I don't need to say anything here about Balzion (shame that was never made into a figure). Bio Robo was also one of the first Sentai Mecha to show a degree sentience, or so I've read. Plus, I'd be willing to assume that Bio Robo is first place or a close second when it comes to various Sword attacks! Before developing newer, more standard moves later in the series, Bio Robo used a plethora of sword-based finishers! In conclusion: Mildly decent Vehicles merge into far superior Robots! |

They're just kind of...Alright.
I don't have anything really insightful to say when both of them just look so mediocre.

Dyna Robo feels like it is trying to play it safe by taking cues from Goggle Robo which I can understand from a production point of view if they want to play it safe and not fix what is not broken.
Bio Robo on the other hand feels like an awesome departure from what the previous two bots did. It is back to two components, BUT, I just LOVE how streamlined everything is when put together. The black, white, and red work so well together making it a very clean-looking robot.

I am biased to BioRobo because Bioman is the fist sentai I've watched. Thought it was cool then, think it's still cool now.

They look good, but Bio Robo is the better one.
