The only thing I wqish Nick would change is the amount of episodes per season. 20 just isnt long enough for a good season. Maybe 30.

Nick also allows the best promotional capabilities - with their contract, Power Rangers takes part in all things Nick, including big big stuff at San Diego Comic Con. Abandoning Nick, who puts their show in a favorable time slot on Saturday mornings, would be suicide for the brand.

I'd much rather go back to the old 32 episode count and actually adapt each season. |

Still though, it's non stop barrage of promotion is putting it in a far better standing than when it was with other networks. So even though PR only airs for, like, 3 months a year, it's constantly being pushed into the public eye.
Also, I want 50 episode seasons. PR seasons tend to have so much potential, but it goes unexplored in lieu of the basic story of good vs evil because they barely have the time to make things interesting again.

As far as I'm concerned, the pre-super & super halves aren't separate seasons. That argument was easier to make when Megaforce didn't adapt two different Sentai seasons for each half, but I'll stick with it.

I'd go with varying blocks of 32-45 episodes per season, we can be on track, Nick gets smaller chunks and we don't have to screw with stupid "no really, it's TWO seasons of the team!" thing.
Also, anyone realize we now need to what the TF fandom does with the two RIDs and have a PRNS and PRNS2? |

I just came back because I meant to clarify that I'd rather have 32-episode seasons adapting every Sentai over the 40-episode seasons I view them as.
I'd prefer 50 episodes, but I think they can do plenty in 32-ish. I think the bigger issue (or, at least one of the issues) holding them back is an overly-action-oriented mentality, at least in the Neo-Saban era. I wish there was less concern over it being fun and/or funny so often, and they'd just slow down. |

Is every show owned/ broadcast by Nickelodeon bound by the “twenty episodes per season” contract? Or are more episodes per season allowed if the show becomes popular? The original Avatar has sixty-one episodes across three seasons: twenty for seasons one and two, twenty-one for season three.

I think it's just a stipulation for Power Rangers. I dunno, I don't really know about how Nick handles contracts.
