I thought of making this discussion about Showa Super Sentai, but since most of us here aren't that familiar with Turboranger and Fiveman, and quite a few aren't familiar with Jetman, I thought including them would make this discussion more interesting and comprehensive. The cut-off point for most non-Japanese fans would be Zyuranger anyway, since it was the first Power Rangers.
The following are the pre-Zyu series:
As usual, there's this useful poster from Gokaiger which I'll have to link because it's too huge. It's pretty representative except for some of the gender switches. Which pre-Zyu suits, in your opinion, have aged well? Conversely, which look really bad now?

Jetman, JAKQ, Liveman, Maskman have all aged well.
The only suits that I would say have aged poorly or are just bad suits are Denziman and Fiveman.

Do you mean the designs or the suits themselves?
Edit: I really need to read. Well, Jetman first of course is nice probably the one that aged the best. I like Fiveman and Maskman and Flashman. (Favorite one by the way) Last edited by guncannon109; 04-20-2013 at 08:44 PM.. |

Jetman to me is the best one that's aged. Even now they hold up against some of the newer suit designs we've seen in recent years. Out of the others, I'd say JAKQ and and Maskman are the other two pest.

Kind of makes the joke in the Abaranger episode of Gokaiger where Ahim was embarrassed to be wearing the Aba Pink suit rather strange considering the fact that she had no problem fighting in the Miss America suit.

Well that probably has something to do with the fact that Miss America is considered an official Sentai Senshi and all.
