I actually bought one of those crystal Gokaioh sets as a gift for the best man at my wedding. He's a Minipla nut so needless to say I haven't seen him this happy since he got that lucky draw Daibouken minipla.

I like painting my minipla, that's the only reason why I haven't gotten the clear one yet.

Not the best photos I've taken, but hopefully these will do

Can the Gokai Machine kits be combined with the original Gokaiger kit?

Yes, the only different between the original kit and the starburst/clear version is that the marine, racer and jet are moulded in white, green and blue (rather than in black) and they they include a much larger cannon and cannon ball parts for the limb slots. The moulds themselves are identical.

Hmmm. I asked one of the middlemen here to pick me up the original kit from Yahoo Japan, because it appears to be quite cheap. I would prefer the white/green/blue plastic rather than the black, but as far as I found it was significantly more expensive.
but oh well. |

Just finished Go-Buster Ace, although I'm waiting on some metallic paint for the car windshield.
I haven't really played around with its transformations yet, but the bot mode looks pretty good. I'm not a huge fan of the feet though.

Quality wise its just as good but sizewise obviously a lot smaller - about the same size as minipla Furaimaru/RPM Microzords. Still need to have a proper fiddle with the car and cheetah modes.

Why have I only just found out about this thread?.
I've got a fairly large collection of Minipla including Engineoh G12. I'm now waiting for the Go-buster Oh minipla. Last edited by Dairenoh; 03-27-2012 at 08:06 PM.. |
