Did you get the changer/mecha combo? For me I think he looks far better than Kyoryujin but there's no denying his price...

Thanks for the tip. I'd really love to splurge but boy is it expensive (the mecha).

Tokkyuger is definitely a step in the right direction, hopefully they'll continue to avoid clips when possible in the future. |

I'm glad I own him got the sake of my mechs collection, but he's definitely the weakest mecha since I don't know when. He's small, skinny and silly looking and the only saving factor is how fun the trains are combined with the ToQ Changer, so he's worth getting for that alone. I fell in love with Kuoryujin the second I got my hands on him, this guy, however is very "meh", especially for the main mecha of the season.
On the plus side, I've played with mine LOTS and there's no sign of anything that could break, so it beats Kyoryuger hands down there. Quote:
so I did!

Would love to see a side by side with Grand liner!
Got to play with this thing, it's actually pretty fun. It locks together firmly but not so firmly that it damages the toy when disassembling.

It's a risk I'm willing to take.

I'm gonna agree with you. The simple fact that Zord Builder pegs are smaller means they'll probably be far less noticable. PLUS, in order to accomodate, I can see the shoulder pegs switching from the yellow/pink trains to green/blue.
The only thing I see being left out as a result of ZB pegs is the hitches IN the trains themselves when you seperate them. Because the hitches are attached to the big square pegs, there'd need to be a new method, but it's such a minor detail I can see it just being ignored. A lot of ToQ-Oh reviewers have. I just can't wait to see if the Den-Liner somehow makes it into the eventual PR adaptation. |
