I thought it was a bit strange to have this figure, for something that isn't one of Ex-Aid's most triumphant moments. I was at least hoping for another set similar to the starter set, so you could have the Snipe/Brave with their bits too.

I am one of those other people, I love the bulk of this design, and I think they managed to making the clashing colors work.

I like the concept of having some dragon armor, but the execution here doesn't work for me. And despite all of the love for Ex-Aid, I remember seeing when this was announced a number of complaints that this was the first power up form being made. So the price drop for a plentiful retail release doesn't come as a surprise.

I've already stated that the designs in Ex-Aid are what keep pushing me away. This is no exception. I feel like they did the best with what they had, but this creative vomit of concepts on to that appalling bubblegum pink will just push my money further back into my wallet for this one. I feel bad bashing this figure because it obviously wasn't targeted to non-fans, but...I mean...well, they tried.

This thing is just ridiculous. As someone that's been a fan of Monster Hunter for going on 7 or 8 years now though I can't help but smile at it. It's goofy, but I get it.

I find it pretty unfortunate how much focus the DKHZ forms got in the Figuarts line when by and large they're little but footnotes in the actual show. It's hard to be interested in this when it only appeared in a handful of episodes--and when Taiga and then Hiiro became the exclusive users of DKHZ for the rest of the show. I really associate Full Dragon with Brave more, now, so this is just a hard pass. But it looks decent enough as a figure.
