Kabuto is one of several Rider shows dubbed into English for airing in select international markets.
It also appears to be the only dubbed series available online completely. |

The first half of Kabuto is what I consider ideal Keman Rider. Cool suits, cool fights, engaging characters, solid plot, the show knows how to have fun but still allows itself to be serious...Then the second half happens and it takes a nosedive. Instead of everything coming together, it just falls apart. Hard.
That first half is still very worth your time though. |

Kabuto as a series looks really cool with great special effects, excellent suit design and one of the best secondary riders.
it falls short in the second half of the season, with the most of the budget used before hand, a meandering story and Kabuto himself being a highly divisive character, especially with that one episode, that probably should have been a joke episode, but was actually an episode and well it was terrible.

I'm disappointed that they turn Sasword and the hoppers in to a running gag in the second half. There's so much wasted potential with the Sasori worm and Yaguruma's revenge. Also, Drake and Dark Kabuto just come and goes. There was just way too many characters and plot devices. The inclusion of the natives so late in the show really ruin the series. However, I do like the Hiyori's storyline and the fighting style and powers of the worm with 3 lives. So, I guess at the end all the worms died while most of the Natives still lives. So did Todokoro murder the original Todokoro? Everyone seems to be ok with him. |

He's probably one of Kabuto's most forgettable characters, despite being around for most of the series. He never really does much to distinguish himself from the rest of the cast, especially when Yaguruma's around and he goes into sidekick mode.

I dunno, he is quite memorable in my opinion. For instance, the birthday song scene.
