In what? The two suits? The Fighting Spirit suit has pretty noticeable differences like I laid out in the review. Silver morpher vs the original gold, dagger holster on the wrong hip and in the color, the silver stripe on the crest and bridge of the helmet. In the episode, even the chest shield isn't accurate. The suit was made from scratch and no one paid attention to the fact that they did these things wrong. The original suit from the Saban era was out of comission and apparently using only the most basic reference, they made the new one just for that Dino Thunder episode. Though unfortunately it was also used in Super Megaforce, then digitally altered to look closer to normal after filming.

When I saw the silver stripe in the Fighting Spirit episode I legit thought that I had forgotten what green ranger looked like in MMPR and had to check wiki to see if maybe he had the silver stripe at some point in the show.

One of my favorite sets. The face sculpts for Tommy look odd though. Thankfully I'm buying them all for fully suited rangers.

I’d love to troopbuild the Putty, but I don’t want to buy multiple copies of Tommy to do it.

"You think you can take our American Powerful Rangers, and make it into Japanese Super Sentai?" Thank you for reminding me Akiba exists, it brought a smile to my face.
In terms of the actual figure, it's weird to see this suit taking on a life of its own. Watching 'Fighting Spirit' as a child, I never noticed anything different with it (honestly, I thought it was the coolest thing that they were doing a crossover), but as you've pointed out, the differences are kinda obvious, but it's nothing major. And I'm usually a fan of obscure variants, but it's not quite different enough. Plus, I don't care for the Putty. Yes, I know it's iconic, and it's good to see it get a release like this, but I just don't go for villain figures. Still, the gallery looks good, and they're well made figures. I'm the one with the problem, not the gallery :P

The real star of this figure is not Tommy for once! It's the a Putty! I get this Green ranger is a Fighting Spirits Ver. The helmet looks like a cosplay because the visor looks way to big. Was Hasbro that cheap to scan a cosplay Fighting Spirits helmet? LOL if it was true. Also not a fan of the shield because of the golden cheese. Serious question though, was the Fighting Spirits GR color yellow green? Because that was how the episode was in, in a yellow green environment. I don't think the costume was really yellow green.

The Putty looks sooooo good! But sadly, this collector will still be passing, because I really have just no desire at all to own that Green Ranger... However unlikely it may be, I'll keep hoping for some single release Putty or even a two pack with another character I'd like more.
