I do wonder if the 2019 PR season is just one season only? I don't think Go-Busters has enough stuff for a two season show.

You can argue that shows like Ninninger and Kyoryuger don't have a lot to work with, and look what they got there. |

Doesn't Go-Busters have 2 primary villains? Couldn't each half be dedicated to beating one of them?

Disney tried to make an animated Power Rangers before, and Toei were able to successfully veto it due to the amount of control they have with the franchise. I'd say more but...at this point I'm just wasting my time. |

And then there's the fact the new contract with nick is 3 years. An odd number. So that doesn't seem to be to make much sense if they were doing two shows of two years each, but a lot more if it's either one show of one year and one of two years, or three shows of one year. And if they let the Nick guys in on the Hasbro deal while negotiating that strengthens their posistion at the contract negotiations. |

Go-Busters has a few good ending points that could constitute season enders, though judging by the description, I feel they're probably going to keep Enter as Dark Buster as the final boss. The show even has super forms for all the rangers during the second half, which would help make the divide even clearer.
And yeah, Go-Busters has a lot of plot going on through it that would require a second season at least. Despite there being one auxiliary mech, there are still the same amount of mechs that most other recent Sentai seasons have. Trying to clog that all into a 20 episode series would make it feel like Megaforce, and they probably aren't going to do that again. |

Go-Busters has 3 Megazords (Ace, Beet, and Li-Oh), and 4 other zords that can combine with them.
I think Hasbro can stretch things out decently well, perhaps by creating a custom combination for Yellow and Blue, letting the movie exclusive frog interact with the other zords more, or allowing for Beet to combine with Yellow and Blue without Ace.

They'll probably end up releasing Ace separate from the gorilla and rabbit mechs as well, even if they're still first wave. Ace has enough to it that it's a good toy on its own from what I can tell.
Then once other mechs start being introduced, make a three pack with all the mechs. Seems pretty straightforward to me. |
