I don't think I'd mind the shade of gold as much if it wasn't for the missing paint. That's the biggest problem for me

This guy definitely seems to be an odd one out; otherwise the line's had a pretty good track record with gold so far.

I've been tempted by this if only because Utchy was the only thing I liked about Kyoryuger

Well it depends. We look at the show. Sentai Footage I think he's not really a metallic gold but it's a richer color that I wouldn't call it yellow/orange/brown but gold. US footage, they went more custard I guess. He's more knocking on the tan door. SHF look good but aren't accurate. Now LC figures BM Gold - Metallic gold paint over black plastic MMPR White - metallic Gold leaf paint over this brownish or white plastic. Dragon Shields - A yellowish gold plastic. Goldar - A yellowish gold plastic with painted gold accents. Drakkon - The one i'm impressed with the most, the vest is a nice gold plastic with a sheen. No paint there and the arms/legs have that gold paint. DC Gold is like Goldar. The whole thing is this gold plastic but with the finish it's coming out on the candy gold side of things. Like a golden cooking stock. It's not helped by the two shades that all LC figures have between the legs/arms and torso. It seems like Gold is just difficult for these companies. Maybe it's because of the mix ins or type of plastic. Zeo Blue we've seen a render and well the renders have not all been accurate. FS Green Rangers render of the gold shield is richer then the final product. Also all the symbols are lined up. |

Outside of the neck this is another good looking figure I'm a little surprised that the saber opens as well, heck I'm surprised the morpher is removable based on some of those pictures.

I get Dino Charge Gold is more on the yellow side to match the PR suit color. But I would have prefer the metallic gold from the original. I also wish they could have added more details on the belt buckle on both DC Red and Gold Ranger.

I like the figure, but the cheese gold and weird foot articulation on my copy makes it hard for me to really like it.

The articulation should be the same as every other figure. What's weird about it?
That's where you start to get out of the $20 price range of these figures. The difference between that and a something running $60+ |
