Out of these two era, which one was the worst?
I’m excluding Original Saban era because no way! That era is the reason we got Power Rangers and I also excluding Hasbro era because the era just got starting. EDIT: TBH, I prefer Disney Era over Neo-Saban Era because i can’t stand those shows. Most of Neo-Saban shows keep reusing footage from Sentai shows and not do original fight on their own. It’s like if Haim Saban was being cheapskate of doing those fight scene. Anyway, i rather watch any Disney Era shows than watching another Neo-Saban shows. (I hated that awful GO GO Power Rangers remix from Samurai) Hopefully, Hasbro can put Power Rangers in course correction. Last edited by vin13ish; 03-03-2019 at 04:47 AM.. |

Disney only really had a few stumbles. Neo-Saban just made utter shit.

Unfortunate or not, this is hardly even an issue any more!
Disney may not have been Saban Era 1, but virtually everyone has noted that Neo-Saban (Saban Era 2) has made Disney look even better as the years pass. Guess one could argue that the Disney Era does indeed age like fine wine! Neo-Saban may have seemed like a good thing at the time it happened, but many quickly realized the sad reality. I myself gave them the benefit of the doubt and held out hope that they could turn it around...and they actually got close with Dino Charge...a P.R. that even P.R.-hating Tokusatsu fans were impressed by! They had their shot and while they came close...Neo-Saban could be, rather sarcastically, called the "Get Smart Era" in which they "Missed it by THAT MUCH!" That said, are there some things to like even in the bad seasons? Of course! There are a few odds and ends one can like. For example, Vrak and Vekar from Megaforce and Super Megaforce weren't the worst villains ever! However, a bad season will ultimately contradict the gestalt theory...and prove that the whole is not always greater than the sum of its parts! Saban's second attempt did accomplish something...it made the fandom acknowledge Disney, for better or worse! |

Neo-Saban. I don't recall Disney ever resorting to dumb fart humour.

Disney era is better for me with some PR series as good as / even better than the sentai itself.
