Last "Global Crisis, please hold my stuff"-haul? I hope. It’s not like EMS is back or anything, who knows if and when it will ever, but I had enough items sitting in my warehouse that I decided to cough up the DHL fee.
Last time you guys guessed who my secret favorite among these is; do you want to do it again? |

That's a nice haul Kiwami as for me I'll have to say this month has been a month of deals for me:
Finally completed my Heisei Riders Ride Watches by getting the last three I needed loose off Mandarake recently: Kuuga, Kiva, and Fourze for a combined 1000 yen Earlier this month saw a listing on Mandarake for the dx OOO ridewatch loose for 1500 yen and secured that order so fast lol Bought KR Slash at 4500 yen since I'm committed now to completing the SOL Riders and since they're so cheap aside from Calibur and Espada Finally decided to get Espada at 7500 yen and grabbed KR Rogue for 5500 yen Recently won a Ebay bid for the CSM Decade Driver 2.0 Complete set used but like new pretty much for WWAAYYY less than the retail price. Now I have my first CSM and love it and the Shinkenger cards were included as well btw. Aside from those deals I received my Gao Icaris and Gao Lion/Gao Elephant SMP sets from Hobby-Genki Last thing I waiting ship is KR Jeanne once Hobby-Genki stops dragging it out. Usually they're the ones reaching out to me about pending orders ready to be shipped or paid for but this time I had to message them. Last edited by Henshinmorph917; 08-29-2022 at 11:29 AM.. |

So I was at TFNation two weeks ago, which while being a Transformers convention still had some Toku bits on sale, so I'll restrict this post to those. I picked up:
DX Seiza Changer DX Saiko Kyutama SG Double (W) Gaia Memory DX NinninComic Fullbottle set ... Really happy to have the Kyuranger items, as that is one of the few Sentai I have watched and I really enjoyed it, and also happy to have the Double Memory which can do the CycloneJoker henshin sounds on its own especially seeing as Fuuto PI is currently on. The Fullbottles are neat to have, but not exactly mind-blowing without the Build Driver. |

Just in time, one more mail call for August:
FRS Ghost was a pre-order that I have been waiting impatiently for. I also bought FRS CycloneJoker on something of a whim: While building these kits is always a lovely time, I don't exactly love the finished articles in the W line. Colours seem way off and CJ in particular just looks unfinished without intervention. People tend to criticise the Build kit a lot, but for my money this is much worse. |

Intervention is needed indeed.

I have a panel liner which I think will improve it significantly, but I'm not planning to get into airbrushing etc. for a while yet. |

Sneaked in just before the month ended
Another fantastic addition to the Revice line. I'm still impressed how close the mainline releases look like premium shinkocchou seihou pieces. I purchased this piece through Hobby Genki. Really, really reasonable price and the communication with them was very open. It took about a week from the time I was notified of the arrival to when it shipped out of Japan, most likely due to time zone differences and availability to respond from me and them. Even though shipping has gone up, I think the current yen value offsets that increase once you convert to your home currency

I got in a very expensive order from Mandarake. Amazing Mighty Kuuga?s design is so simple, but it translates so nicely to an SHF figure. Also the Rising Ultimate Kuuga design makes a beautiful figure too. The shoulders are surprisingly easy to move around too. I gave him the crazy eyes. Might as well.
Also ordered SS Titan Kuuga. Edit: Just saw the post above mine. Beautiful posing and beautiful figure. I will be getting mine sometime soon and am looking forward to it. Last edited by Rabbitman; 08-30-2022 at 10:00 PM.. Reason: Adding in a comment. Did not want to double post |
