And if you want to talk about the show, I'd say in terms of effects and most likely budget, its at least on par with the Sentai stuff. The writing might not be the best, but I think that Dino Charge and Ninja Steel found a decent niche by going basically full action-comedy. I do feel like Nick drags the show down, but there's probably some reason why they're keeping it there. |

I don't mind the series sticking around a little longer on Nick. Just stop diluting the show with sure misfire slapsticks and get a little serious.

People really want Disney to get the rights to PR despite them never really wanting it for the first place. Funny how times have changed.

actually i hoping that saban would sell the franchise but they care about making money which is not a good thing for them because judging from how bandai is handling the toys, the toyfairs, toysrus is closing down, the ratings going down.
unless they are major changes in 2021 like saban selling the franchise and bandai gives the toy rights to another company, it's could the last season of pr. i dont see how it survives after 2021. Remember, before Saban stepped in the franchise was done. Bandai was planning to keep it going as a toyline only as a desperate attempt to save their cashcow. When Disney had it everyone was pining for the good old days of Saban and Fox. Last edited by Yellow Ranger; 02-12-2018 at 09:47 PM.. |

The unreleased 90's Fantastic Four film was typically seen as one of the worst hero flicks of all time. After the 3 other FF films that followed, people have looked back at it with a softer light. People didn't want PR in Disney's hands because Disney didn't even want it, and it showed, while in comparison, when Nick got it, they advertised the hell out of it, showing that they care about the property. Turns out, with Disney's more lax interest in the property, they got to put out...Passable seasons, while Nick's strangle hold approach means each season is kind of crap. PR just can't catch a break

It's all a matter of perspective.

So what's this about rumored Nickelodeon mandates? That's the first I've heard of that.
Supposedly, the reason they seemingly tried killing the show those last few years was due to an execs wife not liking how violent it was. It sounds stupid, but there are numerous stories of that exact thing happening with many other shows.

I think Disney owning Star Wars and Marvel made fans want Disney to buy back PR. To me, it feels like "I want all of my Toys in the same Toy Box!". If Disney did get the rights back to PR, I doubt they will care much about it. They would put on another shitty time slot like they did before and barely market it.
