$80 is a fair price, but too rich for my blood.
I want one, because I love the concept and execution of the Origami, but I just can't afford it...

Times like this I wish I was still in the USA. I'd totally grab that for this price.

I'm glad to see this hitting the shelves. I always thought it was gonna be a ToysRUs.com online exclusive given some of the labels it was carrying at previous shows and then I found it in my TRU this week.
Also my poor E-Peen. Had I known it was news worthy, I should've snapped & submitted a pic on Thursday along with the Legacy Megazord. <_< |

Plus Bandai Japan hasn't re-released it in Japan.

SRC ShinkenOh was like $50+ before shipping. I always figured the DX would be more like $75-80 for a 5 piece set with multiple forms.
Still think it was a good deal. Now if they release the Import Gosei Great down the line.. I'd pity anyone who pays $80 for that with what it goes for used on the Japanese market. Also I'd like to know why they call it "Nippon Edition" instead of just Japanese edition. What, all the Japanese on the box isn't exotic enough? ;P |

The price is pretty fair when you think about paying potential EMS shipping for one from Japan. They already run you $60-80 before shipping and this is the exact same toy in the same box as well. Honestly BOA is doing us a favor for once. I hate that Zord Builder shit so I hope this trend continues.

Americans decide the market for the world so perhaps if it's successful enough it'll trickle down to the other TRUs around the world too.

Did you want a Shinkenoh? I can probably swing by and pick you one up. Though I'd say shipping to you might be a bit high.

Well the way I see it, if you had imported the DX one before and tacked on shipping, the cost may be close. I could be wrong but wasn't the DX Shinken Oh equivalent to like $50+ before shipping when originally released?
Plus Bandai Japan hasn't re-released it in Japan. I just wish it was lowered because I really can't afford it...
