Yeah I think the first line is definitely referring to Saint Seiya

It says "not quite" in reference to the metallic armor. Saint Seiya are quite metallic. Also they're not as popular in the US so I don't see them getting an exclusive.
Armor but not metallic armor. Anime series that's not DBZ. Gundam SRC exclusive? |

Maybe, I don't really know anything about that kind of thing. Haven't been into Gundam in years.
I was thinking more that Gundams in the show are made of metal armor. |

Ignoring the fact they're very unlikely to make anything 100% based on PR..
They wouldn't do something like that as an SDCC exclusive, making completely unique molds to sell to a few hundred people at SDCC would be a waste. These are pretty much guaranteed to be existing Japanese releases or recolours at best. Judging by the hints.. It's a Gokai Yellow & Pink "Super Megaforce" two-pack, which also ties into their previous comments about lots more females coming soon. |

Which hints specifically point to Gokai Yellow and Pink? The female figures thing was for order solicitations and refers to PteraRanger and likely Blue Rose from Tiger & Bunny.
Also why would they release Gokai Yellow and Pink in the US without releasing any of the others in the immediate future? They have a full plate for the next few months without adding the four Gokai males on top. Honestly I think those are even less likely than Gosei Knight. Gosei Knight being issued in the US at least wouldn't kill the resale value in Japan, since it sells for relatively cheap. Here's my bet: they have the Tyranno and Dragon Rangers in production at roughly the same time as the convention. It'd be relatively easy for the factory to just take the Dragon Shield from DragonRanger and give it to TyrannoRanger and come up with a slightly altered box design. This would be perfect as an exclusive, because it's non-essential and people expected a release of this at some point. Maybe DragonRanger without the shield can be packed in as well. It's easier to do this than metallic repaints or pretty much anything else, and has the advantage of being something from the show. The black/gold Daizyujin is another good bet. I'd be all over that, SDCC or otherwise.
