Toy sales I assume. You can sell two types of toys (vinyl and action gimmick) for 50 different forms but the bike you can only sell once.
So what they do is introduce the bike early, sell the one toy they want to sell, and then abandon the bike and save themselves the costs of filming with it. And of course, all the forms need more time so the scenes with the bike need to be toned down. Some shows tried to apply the alternate form-mentality to the bikes (Double with the different attachments to the HardBoilder) but it didn't stick so I assume it didn't work out. It's probably too expensive to feature CGI-heavy vehicles or multiple real machines for an extensive time as well. Strangely enough, Drive came close to have the Rider machine matter again but it was a car. And I think it's a formula worth replicating: Give the bike an AI, have it manifest with a hologram so it can act as a character and have the machine change alongside the Rider's forms. But as long as the current formula works out I'm afraid the trend of bikes vanishing after the end of the first quarter will continue. Also, I heard that filming with heavily customized bikes gets more and more difficult as they have issues with being able to legally drive them but I don't know if that's true or not - I don't even know how this kind of stuff works in Europe, let alone Japan |

It continues to baffle me that we still haven't had another Auto Vaijin-style rider machine. Bikes are a pretty big deal for Kamen Rider, in theory anyway, and the idea of one transforming into a robot to assist its rider seems like it something that should be something happening other every season rather then once in a blue moon. It even had an actual, physical suit, meaning it could be used far more often the most mecha usually are. God I love Auto Vaijin.

The overall problem with the concept is probably again that you can only sell the toy once. Another thing I haven't mentioned is that oversaturating the toyline with multiple bikes probably wouldn't work very well. |

I think he looks really cool. A million times better than Ex-aid. The way the compound eyes switch out is cool. The suit is simple yet effective and the belt is neat.
May actually check this one out. |

Funnily enough, I don't remember Auto Vaijan appearing in robot form all that often, it was almost as rare as Lazer being Ex-Aid's bike I think.

If they make the bike an actual character or just important enough and have his upgrades be as significant as the Rider's they might get kids to buy that stuff. |

I'm Kinda lukewarm about it. It's not bad, but it's just kinda... standard? I dunno I'll probably like it once I see it in action but right now it's just kinda meh.

クローズ is actually asymmetrical, and has several shared design elements with Build. Being primarily one color does make him look more consistent, but you can see he has the same diagonal lines on his armor that Build does. And if you look closely, his face actually features the same striped look as Build's, only his is broken up by the mouthplate.

But it is just the front perspective of a gatling gun from the looks of it. Quote:

I dig the suit designs, I definitely see the W influence. I'm not too crazy about the driver though, I definitely need to see it in action and hear the sounds on that. The gimmick figure like should be fun, lots of mix and match combinations. Overall, I'm hoping this will be a good show.
