I was thinking about getting a Gokai Red helmet from the famous helmet maker Aniki. I was curious if anybody here has gotten one from him or has a better suggestion. Any hints or advice would be appreciated!

Oh , sweet. Thanks Zeo! i'll bug him
Yeah , Sentai . If you pay the guy like 400$ or so. He makes high quality , super accurate sentai helmets. I don't doubt that Gosei Knight is on the table. He says he only does Tokusatsu characters. I think he has a waiting list and it takes months to get them , but they are worth the wait. |

I sure did!
It is beautiful, impossible to breathe though as there are no air holes Here are couple of video reviews: Sentai, he hasn't made a Gosei Knight helmet yet, so far the only Goseiger he's made is Gosei Red

I've edit the post to give you more info. You are not asking too much questions, don't worry
Ok, I got lucky, because Aniki would do a cheap run every now and then at RB, so I decided to take the plunge. It took a while to receive, almost 6 month, and since it was from the "cheap run" (about $280 or so, regularly about $360), he wasn't finishing them as fast. The scary part about dealing with Aniki is that he's not very communicative, you almost hear nothing from the guy and often wonder if you had just flushed your money down the toilet. He only does business from Facebook now, so proceed with caution, I think he ends up deliver, but just takes a long time with no communication. If you are ever in Flushing, you are welcome to stop by and try out the helmet before you order one. If you're claustrophobic, don't bother getting the helmet, it is tight in there. Me from Halloween 2012

Thanks for all your help. It's funny you mention being claustrophobic! i didn't know i was until 2 months ago when i had a M.R.I. done...but i digress. It's only going in my display case anyway. You pretty much just confirmed everything i've gathered from reading about the guy.
I am going to go for it once i get the cash together. I appreciate all the info! BTW, the MRI machine is way roomier than the helmet

I'm somewhat claustrophobic, but I still want a helmet. I think with a helmet it'd be different. Because it moves with you. Usually I only dislike restrictive spaces.
