Staff Edit: Linked to original source as well as notating that this is for the UK, not the US.
Despite the movie not don't financially well, the toys have skyrocketed to top of the market. The film series might not be a one note wonder. http://www.toynews-online.biz/news/r...ays-npd/048649 |

If Thundercats taught me anything, it's that toy sales have a big hand in making or breaking the entire franchise. I feel good about this.

I can believe this. If anything Power Rangers certainly feels a lot more accessible than most Transformers or Marvel Legends do here.

They're affordable for what they are compared to Star Wars or Transformers. I just hope this means we'll start getting the Legacy 6.5" figures over here. Can't afford ebay prices for those anymore!

Yep, places like Smyths have almost entire aisles devoted to the latest Power Rangers series, and while Marvel is obviously still a big seller here, there's rarely much Marvel Legends or Black Series stuff, you really have to look online if you're interested in that stuff, so I'm not surprised to hear Power Rangers is doing so well here.

That's more due to CN's being this: your toy line isn't number one in sales your SOL for a new season. SOOOOOOO many shows on Cartoon Network get axed because their toys don't sell well or they can't secure merchandising in the first place; that's what killed Green Lantern TAS.
