I play with DX toys. Why have a belt if you're not going to wear it, or a sword if you're not going to swing it around? The gimmick toys are just fun to mess around with when I'm watching TV or something. That said, I don't go too crazy and I take care not to the scratch paint or plastic so that they still look nice displayed.
Figuarts are such a joy to pose that I'd consider taking them down to alter my display "playing with them," but otherwise they're there to look nice on the shelf or in photos. I don't throw them at each other and make them talk or anything. |

Well I don't have many DX toku role play toys, but sometimes I'll mess with them. Megazords I too mess with sometimes, especially when I get a new one. I only own one figuarts and broke it. But as for figures if it's Bionicle I won't mind taking it down to mess with, my Star Wars Lego Sets I don't really mess with much, they just look nice.

I'm primarily a mecha collector. As such, most of the time, my collection spends their days standing on a shelf.
But, I'll admit that I'm more prone to snatching and fiddling with Power Rangers/SS stuff than my Transformers. I like the ease of transformation and, most of the time, the durability. Many times, I'm afraid I'm going to break my Transformers these days. One thing I liked to do at times was to take some of my mecha and break them down into star fleets. Or line up my toQger into one long train, just to see how far it will go. |

My collection is mainly for diaplay, but some things get fiddled with or repositioned more than others. The only things that tend to get played with are my legends class Transformers, official or 3rd party. Those are quite the satisfying bit of hand candy.

My kids play with all my SHFs, legacy, and sentai stuff. They don't beat them up too bad, so it is fine. If there is anything I don't want them to have, I just put it up.

I got some still in the box, but I like to display them on a shelf spread out and in poses. I would like to someday make a stop-motion using them one day, but I don't have the room at the moment.
