I think part of what makes Ryusoulger distinct is in the show's main director Kazuya Kamihoriuchi who up until this point has only directed a couple of Kamen Rider things. Ryusoulger is not only his first ever Sentai show but it also the first show he been the main director. And the guy has a very distnict style if you've watched some of his Kamen Rider stuff

I'm glad you see what I mean. They definitely don't hold anything back. A perfect example is when Gold has Gachireus on the ground Slashes him with he's lighting dagger, then shots him at point blank range. They all pretty much fight like that. I really hope they don't censor those fights, it will ruin Dino Fury

- Kamen Sentai Gorider - Kamen Rider Specter - Heisei Generations FINAL - Be The One All of those are movies, aside from Gorider which was a short miniseries. So pretty easy to blast through if you're interested!

Well I mean the fight scene dosen't really spoil anything about the show outside ofone of characters getting a really cool power up plus the subs aren't in english! But yeah adimitly I could've chosen another one but you know how Youtube copyrights are limited by my options.

Yes, Kamihoriuchi is the main series director for Ryusoulger, but... series directors aren’t really responsible for action scenes (except in the occasional, heavily story-based action scene). The action directors are. In Sentai’s case, Hirofumi Fukuzawa has been the main action director since Go-Busters. Now, that’s not to say that there isn’t some collaboration between a main series director and the action director. There definitely is. But the main creative forces in the fight scenes are the action directors. Basically, if you like the action in Ryusoulger, you’ll probably find something to like about the action scenes in all the post-Go-Busters series. I, personally, think Fukuzawa is very hit-or-miss. The action in earlier shows is wayyy more visceral and cinematic, IMO. For 90s series, check out the fights from Dairanger and Ohranger. For 80s series, check out Bioman and Maskman. For more modern series, check out the action in Shinkenger and Gokaiger. There’s also some badass stuff in JAKQ, but it takes some commitment and patience to get into the wayyy older shows. Those are my top tier recommendations. Last edited by Kamen Rider Lucha; 11-15-2020 at 10:31 PM.. |

This is a bit of a misunderstanding of how fight scenes are handled in Sentai.
